OpenRA game engine. This conversion moves you to the times of the First Tiberium War! Now we have two sides - Global Defensive Initiative (GDI) and the Brotherhood of Nod (or just Nod). Each side has its unique structures and units that can be used for defeating the enemy.
It is planned a two campaigns - one for each side.
Old beta on Yuri's Revenge engine was released in April 2007.

So,
- C&C ReImage is an RTS game based on the OpenRA engine, so strategic gameplay isn't changed;
- There are 2 TOTALLY new sides: GDI and Nod with TOTALLY new unique units for each side;
- There is a new campaign for GDI side;
- There is a NEW soundtrack;
- There are TOTALLY new sidebars;

2009:
We are beginning to remake this mod and soon you will be able to see our progress. Forget about old
Renegade buildings and units, they are history. A new era is coming.
New beta release will contain:
- Improved sprites for all buildings and units for each side;
- Completely remade UI;
- New music tracks;

2010:
I'm still alive! Work in progress...

2011:
We are undead like Schrödinger cat!

2012:
It's me again. Redone most of units and new buildings design. Project renamed to ReImage

It's me again. Redone most of units and new buildings design. Project renamed to ReImage

I'm trying to remake game in higher resolution and with better quality.
Also some new modern units will come - UAVs, tiltrotorcrafts, drones (land and aerial).
Game will feature all new tilesets, props and other eye-candy stuff

Wow, I was waiting for something like this for years and it's finally here. Love the mod, love the retro feel that you gave it and love the Frank's music :D. There were few bugs here and there, but hey it's a beta. Only thing that really bothered me was that Nod had a big arsenal of tanks and infantry and GDI had just few of them (I couldn't win playing as GDI) and the Flame tank seems overpowered, ten of them can wipe out enemy base in seconds (you know 1/4 of the health bar going away when a flame tank hits it is just too much imo).

BTW, if you need any help with the mod just PM me or something, I can do unit coding, cameos and maybe some other stuff too.

well, as far as I know, this RockPatch for some unknown reason causes game to launch WITHOUT your game CD =)
you may try to get a patched gamemd.exe and install RockPatch, then you'll have some fun. =)

try to install RockPatch - it comes in the archive with beta. All superweapons will not work without it.

Though there were some annoying bugs for me ( when a nuke is launched , the game crashes , no superweapon works and some other minor ones ) . Though those are probably because I can't have the Rock patch installed ... However , thanks for the release !
