Cloverfield Source MOD Thread - Cloverfield Source mod for Half-Life 2

Hey, not sure if this forum would be a good idea but its a place where you can all ask any questions or have general discussions about the mod, thanks

will you be able to see the following in the mod:

1)the Brooklyn bridge getting destroyed
2)the head of the statue of liberty hitting the building
3) the city being destroyed like in the end of the movie
4)the main characters from the movie
5)someone getting killed (exploding) from a bite by the parasite's
and 6)the tanker being destroyed (capsizing)

Hey "ipodtripod"

1) The Brooklyn Bridge will 100% be in the MOD. Depending on the story i choose to go for I am not sure whether the bridge will be destroyed while you ware watching it. Im currently working on getting the story finalised but there is a strong possibility if i can get a few more people on the team.
2)The statue of liberty head wont be visible hitting the buildings. The reason behind this is that the idea for the story i have is you play (maybe its not final yet) but you play as one of the other people in the party that may stray from the path of rob and the other characters. Some of the same locations are visited but not all, but as i say - this idea is not final
3)If i answered this it would be a huge spoiler dont you think
4)You may cross paths with some familier people, who knows
5)Yes, there will be plenty of death and blood - hopfully not yours! But im not sure if it will be an exact copy of what happens in the movie as the path you take varies slightly from time to time.
6)Do you mean the oil tanker that was on the news channel in the movie?

hmm maybe - depends how its going to tie in with the story.. if the character you play was at the party then the chances are yes.

Will you be able to use anything as a weapon? and will u be able to play as Clover or the Parasites?

Well, you will be able to use a lot of things as weapons that are located within your surroundings.

You wont be able to play as the monster or parasites unless the team gets bigger and we can maybe add an online mode where one team are parasites and one team are survivors
