New Clone Trooper Phase 1 image - Clones At War mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
This mod is made by me. This is about the time between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. Basically will be from the period of The Clone Wars this on television that came out between 2008-2013. The models will not be made by me. Maybe some will make him the texture, etc.

Lucas art actually doesn't exist anymore so there is no limited distribution, but yeah I understand your frustration. Seeing these people posting imported stuff and then collecting glory.
Lucasarts in a Publisher stand point still exist as that and abandonware by LAW needs to be at least 10 years old before the EULA or Copyright terms of service behind those games do not apply anymore and you can know for sure that Disney/Lucasfilm will be keeping those Terms of Service up to date for anything they own so things like that doesn't happen,
Being Lucasarts at the time and Disney/Lucasfilm now aren't as strict on model porting unlike some other companies are so in all realness this is alright to do but if Disney or Lucasfilm sends you a cease and desist you better follow it to the letter or they could take you to court over it but that is a very rare chance they most likely will just say can you stop porting our work.
Now Moddb on the other hand doesn't care if you have permission or not they will give you 3 strikes ( 1 warning to remove it, 2nd warning they will remove it and 3rd warning will remove your mod and ban your account)
The rule from the 10 years does not exist. The unique rule is if one of the creators let the free share of the stuff.
About Lucasarts. It lets share the stuff from games with mods but Moddb rules do not accept it with every the games because they use a global rule for all.
I agree but it happens with more mods, I have seen ported stuff from EVE.
After almost 4 years of modding I know just like any other modder who has been involved in large mod projects. Models are a very small part of mods. Just having a nice looking model doesn't mean anything if you can't create a unique mod. Damiclone can use all the ported models he wants but to make a good mod he needs to do more than replace some stormtroopers and rebels with ported clones and droids other wise its just EAW with some different units. That is of course IF Moddb does not immediately take the mod down and ban him for all the ported content.
