This Mod totally changes Serious Sam 2 to feel more "serious".
It is not directly the re-creation of SS1 FE/SE - The Main-Features are:

- More than 40 new Enemies: Re-creation of all Enemies in SS1 FE/SE + Boss-Character's
- Weapons changed: To feel like Serious Sam 1 Weapons. Big, Hard and unforgivable.
- All new Special-Effects: Explosions, Gore etc
- All new Sounds: Alot original sounds from Serious Sam 1
- +45 useful Options, like: Different Weapon-Speed Styles, 8 different "Blood-Effects", different Spawn-Effects, 4 Different Font Types, Completly Customizable Enemies Replacing, Spawning-Modifier, Tweaks... etc
-about 20 new Weather-effects for Levels that looked plain and should have: Rain, Snow, Lightings, Flying Leaves, Ashe-Rain, Dust-Clouds, Fog-Clouds Ball-Lightings, Ambience Sounds, Thunders, Metroids, Insects..
- Kind of Some New Maps
- All the Feeling is modified so hard to be like the game was developed for PC and not ported from Console.
Small Stuff like: Smaller Crosshair at big distance, changed FOV, Jump-height, Fall-Damage, Rocket-Jumping
- All new Gameplay that is worth to get the dust of your game, re-install it and play it again.

The Mod features a Installer that creates a launcher. And then restores your normal game.
Not modyfing / altering anything of your original Game ! it works in indepent enviroement
The Launcher is based on command-line batch.

VERY IMPORTANT TO INSTALL IN THIS DIRECTORY: ...\Serious Sam 2\Classic SeriousSam2
OR IT WILL NOT WORK.

This Mod toke me 2 Years of development ! Its almost impossible to tell everything and now its almost finished ! I did the best i'am able to. And it is really feeling like Serious Sam 1. I'am playing it for years. It has to be perfect and i'am satisfied with the Result ! Serious Sam 1 is more than just a Game. It is a Legend ! :)

Added to Images, few random (and older) screenshots. Until video recording works again....
I leave them uncommented.

Classic Serious Sam II developing will continue as if Classic Serious Sam HD never happened.

I'm not sure if put myself under pressure to release Final 1.1 version as fast as possible (without new maps), or just keep calm and give it a few more months ?

Hey there, thats a great idea. First i had to think a bit, but now i know which Scene you mean !

It's a small Fortified Base like a tech-castle and like you say: A swarm of hundreds to thousands of Enemies. Thats really perfect. There is a Limit about total max 50-80 Enemies on Screen. I know its not the "real thing", i never like to do "half things". But with some tricks you can get still a good feel.

- Keep Map low poly.
- 1 type of enemie heavy reduced in AI and reactions could push things.
and ...but oh man start thinking so much about it...

Consider it done ! (takes some time, but believe me 100%)

I'am always looking for some interesting Themes for simple Arcade Maps (thats just one perfect idea, again thanks ;) )

I'am also gonna create Football Stade Level from Duke Nukem 3d (spoiler) and yeah it's strange: The Lobby shootout from Matrix with Gnaars etc.. this can only be cool. Original Maps like this

Oh and one more ! Battle of Thermopylae - Sam is '300' <;D - perfect

I completed the Lobby Hall, and the Intro Sequence. It doesn't sound like much now, but that was one heck of a work.

Heavily reduced Ai? Sounds great, get those 200s up there. I see you have caught my contagious hype about that Starship troopers idea :P. Great stuff, i really loook forward to it.

Id say let me in on it but i'm not use except in 3DS MAX.

Ooo i forgot to mention, you should consider using the Werebull and erm? Skeleton Horse things (can't remember name, got loads of work so you know, hard to think) in conjunction for this outpost idea.

I'm currently modelling a Minigun, thats why i got 3DS MAX going through me.

No, i'am gonna use a new Enemie Type. Something based on the Mechanic Spider things. Because they fit best with their long Legs, making them Larger, giving a Brown/Black Organic Texture and give them a real simple behavior (to save CPU).

Aren't they called 'Marauder' ? I think so, its strage because i cant find any pictures while searching this on google

And then i had in mind like coming a big Monster very rarely or after a while of fighting - Some surprises to give'em the special Serious Sam feel.

hehe not sure what i meant about the 200s up there business i was tierd and about to go to bed.

I think i meant get the max count of enemies up to 200 or something lol.

New types of enenmies? Hmm, sounds great =D, you could always use that Serious Sam mod that changes some of the enemies into silly things (which includes Aracnids) heh.
