For some reason it is impossible to grant landed titles to certain characters.

For example, I was hoping that I could play as Gandalf by starting with his liege and granting him a county (this way I can load the save as Gandalf and play from his perspective). It says I can not grant Gandalf land because he is unable to reproduce.

Again, tried granting the freshly conquered lands of Minis Tirith to the Witch King when I was playing as Sauron (the witch king had good stats, so I thought he would manage the lands well). Again, it says I can't grant lands to those who can't get married.

This prevents the ability to play as important characters. I am not asking to remove the inability to marry (that wouldn't make sense), I am just asking to make granting these characters land a possibility. Or at the very least make Gandalf start out with a landed title.

Gandalf shouldn't be landed, IMHO, as he's more a nomad character. I know this could be annoying for some of you, but you always can give him some lands by adding his id in the history/titles if you want ;)
Maybe we'll change that in the future, but for now, it looks good for us. By the way, if we don't remove the inability to marry for exemple, you'll never be able to land this character. This is hardcoded by the game, as far as i know.
