This is a full conversion Tolkien mod for Crusader Kings 2 which will feature bookmarks throughout the Third Age. It is crashing to desktop during the launch, it just closes, there is not even a error message. :(
Are you playing with 2.4.2 version of CKII? And did you removed all your previous instllation before to install the new release?

I got a ctd always on 10 Cerveth- 11376 playing as Aragorn!
Its only on my current save, I don't try starting a new game

No, not really!.
The last event was Aragorn sons and daugthers with Arwen, changue the name to Elessar and Telcontar, Ahhhhhhh.... The event to claim Riddlemark, I was just starting a war with them!
Is horse Lords needed to play this mode? That is the only add-on I don't have.
Normally no DLC are needed, even if i would recommand to have Legacy of Rome and Horse Lords at least

Thank you for the update! But I have noticed a few problems:1.Sauron takes the title from his vassals , and they rebel against him,2.At the court of Elrond there are always new elves(in the first two bookmarks). Sorry for my English,with love from Germany=)
1- We're working on the Sauron problem currently. There's some ways to solves them, we're searching for the best ;)
2- I'm not aware of this problem, maybe linked with a lot of elven children?
The game crashes spontaneously few years into the game w dunedain of the north, any clue on what could be happening? :/
We're looking after this problem, as it doesn't seems to happen always but only some few times. Certainly a broken event somewhere.

Always CTD on 10 Narwain 11376, playing with Haruzan
It gets to the colorful loading screen then you see the elvish script for a loading bar... but as soon as it gets to "data" it crashes completely.
try deleting your save folder with the mods and reinstail it that should fix it :D
me and a friend tries to play this in multiplayer, i crashes a bit in after begining any clues?

Steam as update the game to 2.4.3 and there is no beta avaiable for 2.4.2 would you be able to do a fix fo it?

The new feature to increase population in provinces is a brilliant one. This mod is becoming better and better with each version.

I want to report a few bugs
1. when you control both Eryn Galen and Lothlorien as Thranduil, you have the option to form an empire of Silvan elves, but as soon as you form the empire, your title changes to Galadhrimien (which is the title of Saruman) and Saruman becomes your vassal?! I am sure the event wasn't meant to do this.
2. When you grab Gundabad as the Dwarven emperor and call the meeting, not all the dwarves are called. The one just south of Rhûn (Stonefoot?) was missing in my game and thus he stayed out of the voting and empire.
And thanks again for all the effort and hard work, this is by far the best mod out there.
HELP !
I reinstalled the Game 2 times and the mod 3 times, whatever i do i can not get the councilors decisions to display properly.
I am missing the purge province decision altogether.
I have the background with 4 empty circles where the actions should be and on top of them the 3 generic actions - for some reasons after the latest reinstall only the colonize province actions on the councelours tab appeared
I have the game V 2.4.1 update it to 2.4.2 and put the mode and nothing helps

You don't need the decision in this version, the event fires automatically. The purge process takes time (like 10 years) and expect a huge revolt, after you crush the revolt, the provinces will flip to wilderness once the purge time is over, then you can send your steward and take the decision to colonize as before. But bear in mind that there is also culture flip events that fire pretty fast, so don't spend all your money on colonization :)

I can't play cause my game is v 2.4.3, i tried to put it v 2.4.2 with steam beta but it didn't appear.
Did any of you know how to fix the game in v 2.4.2 please ?
To anyone mad at Steam about the unwanted update i found a way to fix it:
First revert back to 2.3.6

Manualy update your game by the correct order and you can happily middle Lord Gaben
PS: Gave all the links for the lazy people and you just need to bother with the update folder in the links i gave you if you have a legit version (i have it, just mentioning it just in case).

Well you are screwed........XD
I don't know can't you use a program in the mac that allows the use of .exe if not you need to get the files of th update and do the update manually, and by manually i mean finding wich files were changed or deleted and pasting over then with the new files.
The only other way i can think of to do it, is to download a pirated version of the game with the 2.4.2 version.
hey where do I extract the files to not Shure on which are of the ck2 folders I'm meant to save it in for it to work
