There's a rear sight already.
In the image above they're both in alignment - the lower glowing dot is the tritium marker on the rear sight, and the higher dot is the forward sight's marker.
The sights aren't complete, and some weapons will have to be added to in order to look right when using sights. Also wouldn't your head be tilted to the right over the back of the gun for better handling? It's kind of odd to steady a shotgun with your neck! *fires gun* *spine breaks*
