Cinema features quite a few changes to Max Payne 2, and to the way it's played. It's hard to describe most of what Cinema offers in words without sounding generic and bland, so it's definitely recommended that you check it out yourself!

Cinema aims to provide the player with more of a movie feel, and pulls the task off quite nicely. Miniguns, cinematic feeling scenes -- it's all there!

typing abit too much now... hmm i hope you guys will keep on using moddb after i type this... like ,if only disarmed enemies are aggressive, and their animations are completely replaced with runs, dodges (when they panic) , melee attacks and the disarm move(to try and grab their weapon back)
because, like as it is now, the commando characters stand in this 'gun holding' pose after you disarm them...
like they either stand still in shock, run towards other bad guys in fear, try to take their gun back, try to hit you with their bare hands, or maybe they have extra guns or something which they pull out...

adding this mod to my modwatch list hehehe

and oh can the physics system in the game be tweaked or something? wierd things happen in bullet time like when a guy i just killed in bullet time was falling down, and i exit bullet time before he stands still he sorta gets thrown in the direction he was falling... or something... hard to describe it, ive seen it happen rarely... the more obvious one is when you go to mona's funhouse level and use the ball machine there, with and without bullet time... and another thing about bullet time...the sound that comes in when your exiting bullet time seems to be abit... too loud or something, or misplaced... and can max payne 2 have the 3dmark2001-style warping bullet trail effects since its on the same engine or something? why is it when i dodge when im in bullet time, that max moves so fast that hes unconvincing... the same to when im turning very fast after bullet time is turned on , max must look like an agent or something when he does that... and the dodging bullet time animation doesnt account for when you aim down or something , cuz it always makes the character aim horizontally ...

a first person view would be nice too, despite this game being max payne , cuz some of the more stairy levels are pretty impossible to go through because when some enemies pop up at some akward angle above or below you, and your character is supposed to have a direct line of sight to them , and therefore they have a direct line of sight to you too and start shooting you, the camera always looks at something else when your trying to aim at the enemies... of course when your doing moves like dodging and rolling on the ground the view temporarily goes to 3rd person , maybe as well as bullet time...

which sort of changes the game abit, and makes the escaping from the swearing guy so much more fun

also in the part in the morgue with the winterson dead body where normally the game zoomed in on his eyes, now it zooms in on his forehead instead

now to try out the 'disarming' move on that stupid escaping level where the guy chasing you swears at you... this is gonna be fun if it works

It doesnt fit the atmosphere the rest of the mod or vanilla MP2 sets up.

I suggest you go with more "lobby scene" style music, it would fit the whole shades-n-trenchcoats thing but this isnt a Matrix mod so maybe im getting the wrong idea but that's the kinda flavour you give off so pick music to compliment it...

It is a great mod as is, and i especially like the BT songs.
I will just post some suggestions, but please dont think that i am putting down your mod, its great but here are just some ideas...

-a lite version with only a few songs and a "heavy" version with loads of BT songs, some more rock, some techno or what not. More variation.

-gunkata moves, i dont know if you played the Rico mod but it has a gunkata move where the two uzies fire in opposite directions.

-More dodges. Dodge while standing to dodge in way X for example and dodge while running for dodge type Y.

-more dual weapons (sawed of shotgun, dual anacondas, dual AK47, etc)

-Stop motion, i dont know if you have played the UberBullettime, stop dodge or the stopmotion mod(s). But they all enable you to freeze time, it would be cool if you could incorparate something like that, not all the time but only during a backwards dodge while standing or so.

-Different jumps, higher better more flips spins blablabla...

Download it! Oh, I noticed a bug. On Part 1: Elevator Doors, after the **** Justice part, my Colt Anaconda dissapeared, but then I switched a waepon, and it was there, and then I didn't have a single problem. Maybe it's just me. Oh Well!! Great mod anyway! Can't wait for the full version, because this si just the Beta right?
