Today, in the name of Chronicles Team, I would like to present you with our long awaited Demo. Small in size, this demo will show you the true force. Without further do, let me get into the subject.

Chronicles Total Conversion, an idea started by a bunch of Jk3 fans, turned out to be a great team. The goal is re-creating the entire Star Wars saga story plot in Jk3's quake engine. In addition to movies, this mod will contain story lines from expanded universe. Forcing the limits of quake engine without the SP code, you will hunt Jedi as Grevious, or get trained by Sidious as Darth Maul.

Duel Of Fates Duel Of Fates

Starting by chronological order, this demo includes a droid hunting mission in Trade Federation ship. In accordance with the Demo concept, we decided to release only one mission in which you will taste our work, sit and roll for more!!!! Unfortunate for you, we cut most part of the cutscenes and omitted our newest gunray model to keep secrecy at the top of its limit! Even though we try to keep voice acting on its lowest level, we will have to do it either because of expanded universe missions.

We will probably release a few demos instead of a giant episode at once that could cause serious heart attack :D With the full version, you will have countless more options and new interface including new saber animations and stances. I do not want to explain every single mission because the mod will speak for itself by his quality and length in the full version.

With the support of both our fans, and the famous Movie Battles team we are working to supply you with the best gaming experience possible with JKA.

We created our mod to combat Tim's idiocy over on KotF; we wanted to produce a quality mod what was directly juxtaposed against KotF. While this mod may not be perfect, we will endeavor to make it become so: To help us, we want everyone to play the mod and come to our forums to make suggestions about the mod.

So please, help us help you help us all.

Some people will feel that way, but here's a demo. Here's an actual product. Give it a chance. You only learn if something is good or bad by either a)trying it out, in this case the demo, and seeing how it is or b) waiting to hear input from other players, people in the community, mappers, etc etc.

So. Let's wait and see.

There were three reasons we wanted to release this demo ASAP:

1) It had taken so long because of a number of team upheavals that meant we wanted to get something tangible out there.

2) We wanted to generate some awareness in the community, mainly to attract some more experienced modders to help us.

3) We wanted to distance ourselves from KOTF to show that we could actually release a quality mod.

So if you're wondering about the bugs or the absent cutscenes or the quiet voices, its because we didn't want to mess around with those for another month or two, its because we really needed to get something released, and we'll be definitely adding a lot of bug fixes and updates in the next release.

As long as you dont start asking for donations for a new modding computer, show up at game conventions to advertise this and dont miss 10(give or take) release dates due to things from im feeling sad today to my mother is sick all will be fine. What I just said reminds me of a certain mod....as the positive part of this comment, looks good. Most of the maps have already been made so they will just require modification. But cant wait to see if it will be finished.

The main difference is that we do not promise release dates, that's something that we avoid since people get very irritated if we miss a day (I would be anyway). About conventions, unfortunately it's difficult since we live in different countries all over the world. For example, I'm from Brazil, selman_akinci is from Turkey, Tanguezo is from France and there we go... But someday it would be awesome to join the team in a unique place to show you more of the mod.

Good that you brought up the word "donation". Here is our anwser: There will be NO DONATIONS EVER for this project. This project is enterely free and we don't need any money to do it, we only need time and your patience to wait :)

Then I might just add it to my modwatch list. We'll see how it turns out. Hopefully we wont see a repeat of events like with that 'other' mod. I'll try to find some time to give the demo a shot. Someone tell me how it is. (didnt KotF release a "demo" too? I think it was just some slightly edited files and maps)

Just judge the mod on its own merits and not on the actions of someone totally unrelated to the development of this specific project.

Great post guys, that's what got you up in the rotator :D
