Here's hoping that those classic HL2 sounds will be replaced! You guys always promise a lot, and the difference between you and most mods is that you actually deliver. Let's try to get some new fence sounds and hell, footstep sounds guys! :D
After running the gauntlet of Fear, Fear 2, and Amnesia, I R immune to your scary sounds...but their still freaking epic!
and I have to agree with Oomphstein [which is an absurdly fun name to say by the way!] This keeps looking more and more like a full blown mod rather then a campaign [then again.. aren't some L4D2 campaigns like small mods?]
We actualy call Chernobyl as a mod for Left 4 dead 2 considering the tonns of new content that we want deliver with it and the many of changes from the gameplay that we have done or planned aleady.
Of course, you can´t compare our project with a full mod or total-conversion based on the source-engine but for a "regular" custom L4D2-campaign it becomes to big I think.
I guess based on actual size of the project-files Chernobyl is growing up to a total filesize about 1GB to 1.5GB.
Have to say that it's kinda sad to have this as a L4D2 mod. The fast paced action will take away from the intense action and all the work done on the maps. I hope you guys will port it over to HL2 as a survival/horror/ psychological game similiar to Dear Esther, Amnesia ( minimal/no use of guns, emphasis on the phsychological/story aspect). Still great work, reminds me a lot of raindrop mod.
I'm not sure about making this a L4D2 campaign, the action would ruin the atmosphere. But as a demonstration, alright. Maybe a Half Life 2 horror mod? Who knows.

You´re right, own sound-fx are already planned and will come in the future :)

You might get a handful of new zombie sounds as well.
this looks spectacular as always! alot of planning and care can clearly be seen in the detail, keep up the amazing progress!! :D
this is still a l4d2 campaign right? because it looks more like a full blown mod O_O good work!
love the way the plants are actually growing where sun, earth and water converge - nice details! :)
