A custom campaign for ArmA2 Combined Operations. Official DLCs - BAF and PMC, are recommended for best experience, but not required.

Description:
A former scientist employed by the former Takistan Defense, appears to US outpost in quiet small village Sakhe near a mountain pass, requesting for immediate help. A small journal is about to turn the whole country into deadly chaos.

Notes:
-Tested to work good too with ACE2 mod
-4th mission allows you to move AI defense lines via radio (proper guide not yet in the mission)

Hints:
-You can save anytime via radio 0-0-1
-Medic-packs can also be used via radio
-There is more gear in HMMWV
-If you cant find the last enemy, there is usually a marker area on map showing his inaccurate location
-Local civilians may share you usefull extra information
-Good gameplay with friendly skills set to 1.0 in gamesettings, enemy 0.5 to 0.7 or more
-If played with ACE2 mod, change your weapon in 1st mission to fit in darkness.

According to our panel, the road was tough at every turn. Most entries brought their own styles while others followed the safe patterns of mission designs from the past. Reports show that many of the entries showed potential as front runners but were unfortunately short-changed through portions of the mission design that induced bugs or faults into the overall development of the scenario. In the end, only three could secure a prize.

All entries will receive a review and subsequently be added to our archives as MEC contestants for all others to enjoy. The top three are listed below...

Its a little tricky part, but there is some ways to beat it easier. With the easiest difficult level (from custom menu displayed at campaign start) there is one tank less, some less enemies and more friendly tribe units (coming from mountains).

With any difficulty level, there is also air support available via action menu (mouse roll). Laser designator (with batteries) for it, can be found near insertion camp (box other side of the road), you can take sometimes even both tanks out during one airstrike.

For all missions, I also suggest to set unit skills manually from gamesetting menu. I keep friendlies at 1.0 (max) while enemies are quite challening at 0.7. Setting them 0.5 make the playing already more easy.

Wow, it is hard! I have tried to "Clear the Crossroads" about 30 times!
Maybe cut down on the amount of tanks and APC's by 1 each?
Also, the amount of infantry is overwhelming for a 5 man squad.
I can get rid of the tanks but all my squad gets killed and then me.
It's very good campaign, just very hard for me.

There is usually changes for all missions which requires testing them all again. Its easier and time saving then have more changes on each new version.

Currently I try to have english checked for next version with voice-acting (if I find actors). Also tweak more missions and cutscenes. Also expand at least the campaign outro. Some new gameplay/AI-features would be nice too. But it could take time before the next version is ready.
