Centralia is a first-person horror-puzzle game. Our focus is on the artistic side of the game so we have aimed to leave almost none of Valve’s original textures or models in our game. We'll also be adding lots of custom sounds. Some small changes will be made to the source code of the engine but this will remain largely unchanged owing to its complexity. Jim Fletcher is a curious, young, local journalist looking to make a name for himself by landing an exciting story on the ever-burning Centralia. He will travel from his town to Centralia, where a coal mine fire has been burning for half a century. The town has been abandoned for decades, leaving the eerie shell of a community behind. What will Jim uncover on his quest to make that all important good story? Developed by Andrew Furniss & Oliver Davies.
it takes only 10 min to finish it.....
Good, but short, SOOOOO short.
it was to short and one jumpscare
Centralia isn't a bad start, but it could use some work. From a visual standpoint, view distance is awfully low and graphical glitches exist. Note that there isn't much gameplay at all at this point in time, but what was shown was interesting enough though a bit too cheesy and unoriginal.
Nice Atmosphere and scared me sometimes , I kinda liked it :3
It's ok, it has nice lighting but in the generator room there door's textures are really bright. It starts off fun but when you start going into the caves there's not really something that makes me feel like I should continue. Needs more work I say.
It was really short. I give it a 6 because the maps look really nice. I can't wait for part 2!
Centralia Part 1, is a Taste of what's to come in the full mod. I saw some stuff I liked in Part 1, But there seemed to be alot of thriller, but it still catches my attention as a mod i should follow. It doesn't give us many questions to ask either - as a horror survival mod should. However, I enjoyed being trapped in a underground mine, i had the feeling of being far underground and it was pretty claustrophobic. Being trapped like that is one of my big fear so this is really cool!
