Description

Release of the brand new Off World Resource base mod for sins of a solar empire rebellion. Many many changes to balance etc. despite being under the full release a lot of the models are not done and a few minor things are missing, but the majority of the mod is finally. after almost 3 years, about done.

Ok, I opened the game and an error message popped up, however the game ran fine, so when I thought I simply quad clicked and closed the error message the game crashed.

However, before that happened I got a good taste of the game, Some of the effects are great, The bigger beams need work, however most of the other weapons are good.

The ships are unique, however they have nearly no features or texture, however I love the ships, if some small things were improved with the models to make them a bit more up to date and better textures, then they would be excellent.

what do mean for the models by a bit more up to date. i made them 1 month ago. they are about as up to date as they are going to get with exception of new textures, which..until i find someone who knows how to make and texture ships isnt going to happen for a while saddly.

And what where you doing when the game crashed? i need to know that exactly so i can nail it down ^^

AS a second thought that i totally derped on. the texture that Aldar ships are currently using hides alot of their subtle details because most of it is black >.< and i cant do textures well.

Well after starting a game with this mod I can say that it needs custom icons for ships. It is just inconvinient to play with the standard icons (each time I whant to build ship I start to think of thouse ships on pictures).

Also Projected Prophecys research looks to have mistake in its settings (placed in first colomn but requires 3 research stations) Hyperfield detection (placed in third colomn with requirement of 2 stations)

As an addition I whant to say that some ships need changes in their battle positioning (becouse most ships hold weapons on front but they keep turning to the board side of a ship)

Well for now it is all, anyway mod is great actually I'm a fan of O.R.B. keep up and you'll do it!

They will be getting their own custom icons here in a few patches not sure when though, depends on when i can sit down and learn how to do it.

ill get on those research items right quick, thank you!

Which ships specifically, some are meant to turn broadside, but very very few of them ^^
