I guess after his computer died or something (sorta like mine did with the cold front that went through in early October) he decided to leave Mavrik347 in charge of his game mod. Usually there wouldn't be a problem with handing over power to someone else except that he handed it over to someone who isn't really capable of handling it. In the span of a week he managed to turn the vision of the project from C&C95-in-first-person to another Renegade clone... whoopie. Renegade's sales just speak for itself about how must it appealed in the asthetics department.

That's an example of what I mean. The Power Plant is an exact clone of the one you see in Renegade. Kinda annoys me because this was a paid project I was working on, giving Xenon a really big discount on anything I made for him with the intent of providing him with a well-made reconstruction of anything in the C&C universe. Before my computer had died, I was going to finish up what I had started and get all of the buildings done for him before the year was up. At $20 a model, not including interiors and texture work, it was a pretty decent bargain for him considering he couldn't get anyone else to finish anything except for Sir Phoenixx, also promised some decent profit for his work.

I don't really know why I'm ranting about this since I doubt anyone really cares, but after I was bored at Tampa's Institute of Art - I had spent a few hours recreating the original Power Plant in Max 8 based on some renders that the C&C10 gallery showed off on C&CNZ a while ago. I wish my system still worked so I could post it up here, I was hoping to get it painted and have a fully detailed model up for view... probably not going to happen without my texture library back off my hard drives.

It still annoys me that Mavrik totally wasted the opportunity he was given, finding every way to go back to Renegade and silence anyone who wanted things to stay on course with how C&C95 looked. I guess even Xenon jumped on that bandwagon because I think I remember him saying he supported Mavrik's efforts, even though it was coming out as a Renegade clone.

The site doesn't even load the mod anymore, I would check to see if they lost the domain but I'm working right now and I need to get ready to go back home for the night. Basically that's a great example of another pipe dream, and the guy who got shafted most was Xenon... paying for high quality models that Mavrik just tossed out the window.

Hey Aircraftkiller its been a while...

Anyway i just caught site of this post and there is a lot of things i need to clarify.

First of all, I lied about a powersurge thing.. In fact i had to sell my PC and all my personal belongings to pay for my car also during that time frame i also moved house hence the real reason why i left mavrik in charge. Whom in return is the biggest asshole i have ever trusted and should have eliminated from the CoN team as ACK asked me to in the begining.. My plan was to return to CoN once i had a new pc and being back online but as it turned out Mavrik Fired my whole team i worked so hard to build up and also kicked me off the team with a vote from the whole new CoN team he built up (i think he found them all in preschool as none of them has any skills. Mavrik now is developing CoN which may i say is not going anywhere fast or should i say not going anywhere at all.

Mavriks Developement plan is to turn the whole project into an absolute joke and it seems to me that everyone is blaming me for the wrongly crediting of the following vehicles, Orca, Mammoth Tank, Stealth Tank etc.

This has pissed me off so heres the truth, After being kicked out of my own mod team i tried to tell mavrik that he has credited the vehicle models wrong, His reply to this was "Who Gives A Fuck, I fired the people who made the models a long time ago hence i get to credit them to whomever i please" He has also managed to take over my moddb account so any news posted after this date Friday 21st of April 2006 on moddb is not mine. Neither the comments after this date.

Also i informed sir phoenixx about the credit upon the skinned orca etc and apologised for something that is not even my fault. Mavrik does not give a toss if he's wrong as he thinks he's mr know it all.

As far as im Concerned Mavrik is an asshole and CoN can just shrivel up and die, In truth i paid for the models but i dont care if people know that and im really sorry to all the people who did make the models & textures and wrongly credited for them, All you people who didnt model or texture the models who recieved credit i hope you ROT IN HELL.

I apologise again for my ranting & swearing but its things like this that really PISS me off.
