C&C: ShockWave is an enhancement mod for C&C Generals: Zero Hour.
The main goal of this mod is to make Zero Hour a more interesting game with more diversity between the generals, making you think twice before you select a certain general, and overall provide more choices, diversity, and strategic freedom than in Zero Hour - while keeping the spirit and design direction of the original Generals game and storyline.
ShockWave will include 3 new Generals in version 0.95, over 100 new units, tons of new structures, upgrades and maps, a fully working navy, and many other gameplay tweaks. ShockWave also provides completely custom made sound effects and music, new in-game weapon effects and visuals, bug fixes, and an improved battlefield overview with a higher viewpoint.
The 3 new generals - Deathstrike, Ironside and Leang will get their own general's challenge maps, and we will implement their voices, taunts and personality as EA intended. Part of ShockWave's intent is to clean up EA's rushed release job and let people enjoy the game the way it was meant to be. The Navy will be added in version 1.0, however that's only accessable on special Navy-compatable maps, because you can't have a Battleship in a pond. There is currently no AI for the three new generals, but they will be added eventually.
The next release will be version 0.96; as version 0.952 has been larger than expected and thus will has been renamed 0.96 and will be a full release instead of a patch. The next version will fix some of the balance and redundancy issues with 0.951. It will also well as add some new units and fix some bugs. Whether the new AI will be added in the next release has yet to be determined, but work is being done for the AI for the new generals as well as fixes to the old ones.
ShockWave runs closed and open beta versions, and we strive to preserve balance between all the different factions to make sure the game is equally enjoyable online and offline. Bug hunting is top priority for us, and ShockWave is one of the most stable mods out for Zero Hour. Even so, Shockwave is still a Beta, and there are bound to be bugs we haven't fonud yet.

Please Don't ask for the release date, or even an estimate, as there is never a release date.
NOTE: Currently most of our team is working on another mod, Rise of the Reds, consequently there will be a lot less media updates. Work on Shockwave has resumed to a small degree though.
NOTE: If you ask any tech support questions in the comment box, they will be deleted. Get support at the offsite forums instead. Before you ask, remember this: try a clean install first. (make sure there aren't any files left behind after the uninstall)
- The install order is for the latest version is: Gen. > ZH > ZH 1.04 patch > SW v0.95 > SW v.0951 patch
* If your using The First Decade, you need not install the 1.04 patch as TFD comes with it.

Ahoy Shockwave fans
today I have some good and some bad news
the bad news is, due to issues (school and work) in our reallife we didn't get enough time to finish the next mod release before christmas, which would be version 0.95.
now for the good news :)
to not leave you guys empty handed on christmas where making a big patch for version 0.91 which will be known as version 0.92.
this version will include :
-Many bug fixes
-several ballance changes
-some new units for some generals
one of these new units will be the plasma tomahawk :

i'd also like to announce that we have a new team member in the shockwave team "Ion Cannon!" so give him a warm welcome!
He will be helping us with particle effects (explosions ect.) he allready made us an explosion for the plasma tomahawk which can be seen in the ingame demonstration of the unit.

gracias por responderme pero fui a la pag de shockwave(foro)pero hay muchos foros y no se cual es,de cualquier modo van a poner autos civiles esa es mi pregunta no si van a poner flotas ni aviones que se quedaron un poco corto.respondeme y ojala pongan ideas sobre autos y q se puedan subir si pueden.una idea es q los autos lleven entre 2 hasta 4 soldados pero q no ppuedan disparar de adentro y las camionetas puedan disparar de adentro.seria bueno y eficiente por la velocidad de estos y q sean baratos y q aya variedad desde un auto roto(gla)a un auto tuneado(china)bueno ese seria un gran mod para mi y los pocos q somos.se los pido a uds y no a otros mod(por ahora)porque son los unicos q hacen unidades livianas(q se puede jugar con una targeta grafica fea como la via/pro) espero q me contesten con una respuesta coerente(si o no)gracias.

Hola esta muy copado el mod es el que mas cosas tiene para cada equipo pero no hay muchos aviones,barcos que es lo de menos,si uno los hace,todos van a querer q sean gigantes o ¿no?,lo q esta muy bad(mal) es q no hay nuevos vehiculos civiles me encantan los q hay(ya vienen con el zero hour),me gusta tomar un auto con un terrorista y andar por tooda el area agreguen autitos tuneados o si hay un mod especialmente en este requisito.De todos modos en todo lo demas,lindas unit great work.Bye all people:)
Well, the guy who plays the commander in CnC 3 is general Ironside :P
Plus there's RA2 units and voices in there too, whats so wrong about that? As long as it fits the factions and isn't OP it's fine.
And plus, most of the units in the game are based on real-life, even before generals was modded most of the units were based on real-life. There's very few units that I'd consider it's design original in both Zero Hour and shockwave.
