C&C: ShockWave is an enhancement mod for C&C Generals: Zero Hour. The main goal of this mod is to make Zero Hour a more interesting game with more diversity between the generals, making you think twice before you select a certain general, and overall provide more choices, diversity, and strategic freedom than in Zero Hour - while keeping the spirit and design direction of the original Generals game and storyline.
This upgrade was developed in response to a case our Balance Team put forward regarding the lack of customisation for Tao's Overlord. The Tactical Nuclear Missile upgrade will equip the Nuclear Overlord with a sensor array and two large missile hatches on its back. This new M.A.D. weapon will allow the Overlord to spread deadly levels of radiation across considerable distances, while the array will assist the Overlord in the detection of hidden enemies.

I think stuff like Project Raptor (dead, sadly), Crazy Mod (I think their's launches actual Nukes, instead of minis), and Contra Remix III(?), all have something similar.
So, no, it's not a really original idea. But who cares? You're gonna get mini-nuke-ovies!
Actually, Contra had a different tactical missile launcher :)
It will be a RLY cool to play with this toy, I just say that you could make a better job, for example fire it not like a ballistic missile, but like a LOSAT missile :)

actually nuclear weaponary is not sensitive to attack, so the only thing that would happen is the tactical nuclear warhead would be rendered useless, it just wouldnt go boom
Considering that it's just a normal Nuke-Ovie, it shouldn't take much, especially if it's alone, since it has no AA included.

Yes it is, but it'll be balanced, unlike many other nuke-launching ovies in other mods.

Truth be told, the nuke-missile-lord is a very common design, and made it's first appearance in a long-dead mod called Covert Ops all the way back in 04'.

Very, very nice. Everyone's already commented on the awesome nuclear missiles you've given it, and while they're 11 on the 1-to-10 awesome scale i've got to say the turret itself also looks brillent. i like the bunker like bit on it along with the new guns, looking very nuclear, and i also like the Dish on it. Is that for stealth detection?
Yes it is, we'll be giving all Overlord Gats and the Nukelord mini-nuke launcher stealth detection abilities to compensate for the fact that the (mildly useless) radar station upgrade for the overlord has been removed.

Yes, this weapon will likely be in 0.96. Though it's not in the internal devs yet, so nothing is for certain yet.

The upgrade does make it look very powerful, I think it cooler without the upgrade but it was good that you put the upgrade though.

God I hope this tank is the slowest Overlord varriant with those missiles being long-range :-/ Would not be cool for your enemy if you get the fusion reactor upgrade and have Overlords as fast as any main battle tank with long range firepower and short range devistation that they already dish out :-/
