This total conversion for C&C3: Tiberium Wars is set in the Red Alert universe and will provide an alternative continuation of RA2. Red Alert Revolution (C&C:RAR) focuses on an own identity, rather than just copying known stuff. However, we try our best to keep as much of the legendary RA feeling and style as we can.

The Great Plan:

  • 2 main factions (Allies, Soviets), consisting of 3 country-factions each, just like Germany or Russia -- no Yuri faction any more
  • Skirmish AI
  • Revival of several known RA technologies, buildings and units in a new design
  • Many new units for both factions
  • Useful upgrades and special abilities to increase the use of buildings and units in late-game
  • Nice 3D models, textures, effects, sounds and the original RA2 music for a perfect feeling
  • Supported languages: german, english

NOTE:
The project has been cancelled. Further information are available on our website.

New intelligence data has arrived.

A source classified as confidential, confirms the assumption that there have been a lot of changes, in terms of the factions waging war. On the side of the Allies Americans, French, Britons, Germans, Japanese and Koreans will fight together. The last mentioned country now forms a substantial nation, caused by the surprising reunification of North and South Korea, that will participate much more in the power struggle on battlefield Earth. The Soviets on the other side, can not count on North Korea any more as expected, but the Chinese government seems to sympathize with Russia which would lead to a balancing of the powers again.
More detailed information concerning factions will follow as soon as new data is available.

Allied Architecture

Our informant continues to report, that he has gained further insights in new allied structures. Fortunately, he was able to get his observations on film, which we don’t want to withhold from anyone. As far as we know, the Allies have attached much importance to pulse weaponry latterly, as shown from the Mirage Tank. Doubtlessly, this turret is such a weapon which is able to put hostile infantry troops under fire with its energy pulses. Furthermore, it is reportedly able to calibrate its weapon modules, so that an increased damage against vehicles can not be excluded.

Futhermore, the photograph shows a power station which looks indeed a bit different from previous versions, but which fulfils the same task in principle. What else should a power station do if not providing energy? Now there is also the possibility of increasing the output by a special upgrade.

The informant seemed as if he wanted to say something more about the power station, but the radio link broke down at this point, unfortunately…

He is currently traveling back to Russia to observe the development there. So we can anxiously wait for more information from him soon.

Annotation: The textures are not final. Ignore the tiberium this time...

grat work so far, but... come on, the concept of "Mod set after story of another C&C game" has been done to death. How about doing "what if we had followed the soviet victory storyline after RA1"?

never change a working concept :P

@ Kukov:
yes, everything speaks for a Yuri Clone unit, but without his megalomania gene so he won't become a threat again ^^

... Concept Artists & Mappers.

We need some people who are able to draw nice concepts for this mod. First sketches and if th direction ist ok improved drawings of any building or unit that shall be in the game. This job ist one of the most important now.
Secondly Mappers are also needed so we can reach the goal with the Missions, Multiplayer maps and skirmish AI.

If you're interested in one of this jobs apply for it in our Jobs forum now!

Greetings
Dibelius

@ Torgue
If you mean whether the campaigns are linear like in RA2 or not like in TW, then we have decided for the TW-like Theatres of War version. More info follows soon on our website.
