That shiny mod that vilifies the use of bloom and edgy lighting since 2010.

Report RSS Updates: Enhanced OST

This update is about the new original sound tracks. This is only a preview of the progression of a demo version of the songs.

Posted by on

I feel the time is right to announce you that we're having our very own original soundtracks. That's right, our very fahking own songs. Before I go into details, I would like to present you "Charlie Lockwood" aka "CyberLemur" who did all the work on these cool songs. Thanks a bunch to him in order for us to have these nice additions to the mod.

Details: So yeah, I'll keep this as simple as possible. These songs will replaced the original ones that used in the game. But of course, some people aren't satisfied so there will be an option for you to choose to have the original ones. But, I'm one of those who would like to have some "refresh" rather than listening to the original ones for like, a thousands times.

Personal Opinion: My opinion would be most of these are bad-asses, I couldn't have done that myself, ever. They're just purely amazing and awesome for a demo. I don't know about you people, what is yours then? Comment below if you're giving a shit.

ETA
: This time of release and usage is currently unknown. I cannot graduate you when it will be. Definitely, not in the next patch, that's all I can tell.

Here's the link to his music profile on SoundCloud, give him any support you feel suitable.

Lastly, I won't describe anything any further since the songs can express themselves more than my words. Enjoy.

It must be hard to read the first paragraph, I understand.

Damn I fell for it...I tried to localize the owner of these songs on the tracklist of the player and did not read the text. Shame on me :(

So cool, love the GLA one. (and a little the USA, not much the CHI)
Can't wait for the day when you will get your mod done :)

GLA is perfect, it really feels aggresive. USA sounds a bit like spaghetti western. China music feels a bit too modern and lacks some of the musical epicness achieved by the million instruments in the old tracks, which have a "chessmaster" feeling. Just my opinion though. Anyway good job.

You sound like you haven't listened to the whole USA track. In the middle, it sounds like they fired the country guitarist and replaced him with Metallica.

USA Combat1: 9/10

China Combat1: 1:36 - 2:31 Its a good idea on the pacing of the music to add a small part that sounds calm. But i think it lasts too long, maybe slightly shorten it and in my personal oppinion, i didn't liked of those small interruptions like on 2:57-2:58, with except of that, the rest is great

I really like the China and GLA theme. I haven't listened to the USA song yet. The musician works nicely in the game theme. Is he also a player of the mod?

On a side note, is there going to be an explanation in the plot for how the GLA managed to procure the funds for a synthesizer?
Or will that truth be lost forever?
