Command and Conquer 3: The Forgotten is a mod that aims to bring back and tell the story of a fascinating faction. The Forgotten, featured in Tiberian Sun and Firestorm are an ever-growing group of individuals who are afflicted with Tiberium-based illnesses. Detested, marginalized, and oppressed by the three superpowers, The Forgotten have begun to rally against GDI, Nod, and the Scrin. Since their story is not featured in C&C 3, the mod aims to tell it in a compelling fashion, through a deep singleplayer campaign, unique faction composition, and engaging gameplay. Prior to its announcement, the mod was in quiet development by many of the developers behind C&C All Stars, lending the project a rich and experienced perspective.

We've been very hard at work over the past few months, and we're nearing completion of the in-game art, as well as our special and still-secret feature (to be announced soon, we promise). To this end, we've got some new in-game screens to show off for you guys, including some featuring our newly-announced additions, the Tick Tank (by Luckie and Kane Nash), the Crane (by Nielsen), and the Relay Station (by Helge and Kane Nash).

The Tick Tank, an old Nod stalwart from the Second Tiberian war, is the main battle tank of choice for The Forgotten. As the player, your actions in the campaign will help acquire it. Though somewhat outdated, Tick Tanks resilient armor, relatively cheap price, and dependability make them solid units in The Forgotten's army. As an added bonus, because so many of The Forgotten fought for Nod in the last war, their commanders are capable of getting the most out of these reliable old tanks, which are capable of burrowing into the ground for added protection.

The Crane and the Relay Station are more straightforward structures. The Crane permits additional building construction, while the Relay Station is essential for utilizing advanced technology and for communicating with the civilian population. Through judicious use of Relay Stations, Forgotten commanders can radicalize and inspire locals to aid their cause, a dangerous force multiplier if left unchecked. Here are six new screens.

a faction of thiefs and specialists in combining the junk of gdi and nod to create even more powerful vehicles - does indeed sound like GLA - cool!

Great mod , it is a good idea but if I were you I would add CABAL too and name my mod Command & Conquer III: Incursion.Yea,Like the original name of Westwood's CNC3...I like the quality of the textures in those models also I must tell you that the refinery is very well made and well though ,the idea of making it look unsafe for a normal man to get close to,fits nice to the logic of The Forgotten. And finally a question that I would like to ask, will you make the mod installed by an installer or by using the game browser of the menu ?Thank you for making this mod.

We haven't even looked at installers yet, but I suspect that there will be an installer to make initially installing the mod easy (i.e., no copying files manually), then it will be launched through the game browser, but that is not a firm commitment.

Glad you like the update guys. I don't know when the beta will be. We have more to do and we want to make sure we do it very well. If you think you can help us in that end, particularly if you can texture or help me with scripting missions, let me know.

It looks like you guys are just chugging along. I'm loving the Tacitus Library and the look and feel of the new units.

Can't wait for the next update
