Command and Conquer 3: The Forgotten aims to bring back and tell the story of a fascinating faction. The Forgotten, featured in Tiberian Sun and Firestorm, are an ever-growing group of individuals afflicted with Tiberium-based illnesses. Detested, marginalized, and oppressed by the three superpowers, The Forgotten have begun to rally against GDI, Nod, and the Scrin. Since their story is not featured in C&C 3, the mod aims to tell it in a compelling fashion, through a deep singleplayer campaign, unique faction composition, and engaging gameplay. The Forgotten is also the only mod to feature high-definition Full Motion Videos, just like real C&C games, that advance the story.
The Veinhole Chamber houses The Forgotten's superweapon, the Veinhole Monster from Tiberian Sun. Larvae for the monster are loaded into a missile that is launched from the Chamber. Upon impact in an enemy location, the monster buries in the ground and quickly spreads throughout the area, destroying vehicles and structures in its wake with its powerful thrashing veins.
The Chamber art is by Nielsen, and the monster is by Tsumetai. Coding for this innovative creation was by CommieDog.
Wait isn't it a little unfair to Nod and GDI that the Forgotten has two Super weapons?
plus they also got that impact drone!
The Forgotten don't have two super weapons. The ion storm is a special power weapon, like GDI's artillery strike or Nod's air disperser bomb. The vein monster is the Forgotten's super weapon on par with the Ion Cannon or the Nuke.
but that lightning storm destroyed almost that hole base!
Yeah, but Veinhole can't damage air.
The Impact Drone is a buildable unit, not a superweapon.
but still.
Makes sense to me. The veinhole does a crapload of damage to vehicles and buildings, but nothing to aircraft and infantry. The storm probably has disadvantages of its own as well.
Sucks I have to play this game on custom graphics and ultra high for models\terrian\textures everything else low :( I won't be able to enjoy this the real way
hell i got laptop it came out last year but by standards it is stoneage and i can run this maxed out....on a 2480X2668 screen
