Nice! Try not to use just Quake 2 textures, since then it'll just look like Quake 2 :P Perhaps edit some of the HL textures to look more Q2ish and mix it up a bit? The way you mixed in the first screen, but more custom still.
it's not exactly mesa; it's the remaining part of a militarybase that was connected to the decommissioned silos.
