CarmaGorden is a vehicle combat Mod for HL2. It aims to bring the fun of all the great driving games to HL2.
*Drive a large number of heavily armed cars and trucks across varied and interesting outdoor maps.
*Shoot uo your oponents with your car mounted weapons
*Make huge leaps and jumps across rivers and valleys
*Smash through piles of debris and buildings, as you fight to survive.

Mini Cooper
School Bus
VW Camper Van
Truck
Quad Bike

CarmaGordon now has a second internal alpha. This latest alpha features adjustable thidperson view when in car, and a basic vehicle HP system.
You can find more pictures of the alpha in our gallery.
Future Progress
Our coder Childe is not working on the next big feature, which will be Halo style mouse steering. This system will combine the aiming of the weapon with the controling of the vehicle. This method will give much more control than the standard HL2 keyboard controls.

Controls will be done with the mouse, for smooth steering :). The steering of the car will be linked to the aimer so it will be easy to steer and fight.
Are you guys considering joypad and/or other analog controls?
The mod itself is an awesome idea... but the most important thing is that you guys managed to get a catchy and funny name. :D I can't wait for its release.

Yeah this mod is looking a lot more like V8/Twisted Metal than Carmageddon.
Just make sure theres peds to smoosh. :)
From what google has told me about Vigilante 8, I would say this mod may well be similar ;).
