I got v3.3 of the mod and I don't know why there's nothing changed?!
Is there any additional steps that's not mentioned in this page's description?

If I tried to launch metahook.exe without any arguments in the shortcut target, it says:
"Failed to initialize authentication interface, Exiting..."
But when try launching metahook.exe with these arguments in the shortcut target: "-steam -game valve", It says this:
"Could not found: S_LoadSound
Engine buildnum£°8308"
And for the automatically created desktop shortcut, when I launch it, it says:
"Could not load filesystem.dll
FileSystem crashed during construction"
And no, I don't have/want sven-co op. I want basic captions in the base singleplayer game. that's why I didn't go for the latest release on GitHub.
Could you please, make a proper tutorial on how to install this mod on the singleplayer games in 2022? Because neither here nor the GitHub page provide any help.
Fetch latest version from repository "MetaHookSv" on GitHub please as the saying 3.3 has already been archived as legacy. You should always get CaptionMod from GitHub even you are going to play other mods like opfor or czero
anyone can help me? when i play caption mod with metahook it suddenly exiting the game for no reason.

Not working as of 10/01/2022, breaks resolution without any way to fix it.

How do i uninstall this?
Remove /Half-Life/[modgame]/metahook/* and /Half-Life/[modgame]/captionmod/*
