Basically this mod will just adjust the units and gameplay of FoC to make it more canon to Star Wars lore. At the moment it will only be space. This means all ships will be rescaled and the amounts and types of weapons will be increased in order to try and bring them to spec. This is not meant to balance the game, but to make it more "realistic". There will be no fancy new ships or stunning new graphics (yet), just a difference in gameplay that will hopefully mimic the style and action of the films.
Due to unknown errors in the game I was unable to make the [spawnsquadron] ability work correctly for the Acclamator in ground combat. Therefore, there will be two versions of the Acclamator: one that spawns TIEs to spot for its turbolasers and to deal with fighters, and one for ground assault that spawns MAAT Gunships, which themselves spawn ground troops, which can take and hold ground....you get the picture. The MAAT-spawning version will be slightly more expensive, and fly at a slightly lower altitude.

And maybe a small color variation to tell the difference ships? Just a thought.

LAAT was back in the Clone Wars, MAAT is Galactic Civil War era, much more advanced (even in the name, M is for Multi as opposed to L for Low.)
I have a lot of experience modding EaW/FoC, what kind of problem are u having with the Acclamator Spawning units? A possible problem I see is that u'd need to make the Ties work on land (Land_Model_Name and Space_Model_Name, a lot of other lines of code necessary too.)
ya, i can get both the ties and maats to spawn initially, but no more spawn afterwords, and only one type spawns (only ties or maats, not both at the same time). please pm me if you have any ideas as to whats wrong, i can send you my code. ive been busy with school the last few weeks and havent had any time to work on it
