When?
I just realized but, the Old World looks a lot like Europe. With the Empire being Germany, Brettonia being France, Estalia being Spain and Norsca being Norway/Sweden.
And kislevits are poland, maybe also rus :). There is also Tilea that somewhat depicts italia.
Rus. Poland did not have horse nobility as the kislevits do. Kosaks through and through - slavic.
Kislev is basically a mixture of Rus and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, from the Tzarina to the Winged Hussars.
@Jasperz0r; that's the intention, if you look at the Lizardmen they're south America with the attendent Aztec/Inca feel while Araby is North Africa. Khemri is Egypt, Cathay is China, and Albion which seems to have dropped out of all fluff again is Britain.
Yes I looked at a full map of the Warhammer fantasy world, I found it very fitting that Naggaroth, a place of darkness and espionage, as well as slavery is North America xD.
Also Ulthuan seems to be Atlantis.
I think the wood elves act as the warhammer scotts and irish become they practice druidism like the celts and they fiercely defend their independence from the Brettonians, plus they have a lot of celtic fairy tale creatures like the fay as part of their army.
Estalia is medieval Italy and spain,
Tilea is dark world renaissance Italy,
Bretonia consists of Britons which are the ancestors of England who were still French,
Empire is the Holy Roman Empire,
Grand Theoginist is the Papacy
Kislev is a mixture of Sovietesque states with references to Streltsy, and the harsh cold environment,
Chaos are the manifestations of our obsessions/excessive behaviors and fears, ie violence, indulgence, plague and magic. the things we do not control yet try all the same.
Brettonia is more he mixture of France and England. And Albion look like ancient Scotland/Ireland.

Less chaos wastes. Map extends more to the west and south to include Bretonnia.
Also parts of Tilea and Estalia. As well as possibly Athel Loren.

Maybe one day we can get nippon and cathay but i am excited for bretonnia
