A standalone expansion of the Call of Warhammer experience. Fewer scripts, unlocked gameplay, brand new factions, new continents, dozens of new units, new music, and much more.
These are some really nice accomplishments. I hope we get this gigantic new version just before the summer holidays. Don't really care if it comes later or much earlier than anticipated. Keep up the good work!
I reckon that it's beginning to become short on unit slots. Wouldn't it be a great idea for us, the players/fans to vote on what the last 5 units should be? I am personally hoping that we are getting the Iron daemon war engine, because then we could have the battle of the steampunk tanks. Not going to be sad if it's not added, but it would certainly be a cool unit to play around with.
The thing is Chaos Dwarfs already have a full competitive and varied roster, with enough arty options. The Choo-Choo-Train -as we call it- doesn't add any new strategic factor to them neither is a classic icon on the faction, while things like Bull Centaurs or the Lammasu are, so these late ones have priority above any other potential CD addition. It would be utterly fun to have that thing in the mod though, I must admit, also would be fun to have things like the Marienburg Land Battleship -we've commented several times how cool that thing is- but there's a well defined list of priorities.
We already have shown pretty much what will make the cut, but we have a fistful of things -for different factions- we have not shown and most probably will make the cut too, and coincidentally are things a lot of people have been asking. Those goodies would be things that would do fill a role in the gameplay of those armies.
Yeah, you're right. I would also take more tactical units over utterly fun units anyday, but having a few fun units wouldn't hurt either and we already have a couple of these so i won't complain.
Hey guys, I have a question that may not be appropriate to ask here. My first TW was Med 2, so I was very used to it before playing the newer games. Upon coming back to Med 2 after months, I realized I couldn't play it as well anymore because the UI is radically different. Unit health bars and morale markers in the newer games don't exist and make large battles in Med 2 a confusing affair (at least, for me)
Is there anything that can be done about this? I'm not demanding you guys do something about it, if there are some tips and tricks to help me out then I'll gladly take them and prepare to enjoy this wonderful mod :)
You can tell how "healthy" a unit is by how many models are left and how bloodied they are, generally. Not being able to tell for sure if that Bloodthirster can take 5 more hits or only 1 is a feature.
There are not health bars in med 2, all units have 1 health exept for some units and they will tell you if thats the case, its depending of the armor and the defense ability if the unit dies or not, thats what i love about med 2, health system is one of the most retarded things i have ever seen, its so unrealistic, units wont drop at first because of high health but will start dying quick late game because of the low health, i like more the ancient empires mod for attila that brings that med 2 system back.
Woohoo!! Keep up the awesome work!! Patiently waiting till release!
Congratulations for all the achievements :)

I vote for the lizardmen Carnosaur. I swear i'm not biased at all.
they are doing it, on a submo, bout would be cool to see a general on it like a special character as they made it :)
Sure would is the submod hardcore fantasy battles ?
When a picture actually is worth a thousand words of queries and replies. Keep up the awesomeness! :)
