People installing the 1.0.1 LITE experience crashes after the cut-scene of Jupiter Underground ( when their team first enter it to reach Pripyat ).
This is due to some missing climates used underground. As they do not eat much resources, instead of deleting the climate change script and degrading your game, you can simply re-add them, and enjoy more variation in climates in a fully working CoP.
Tested and working with LITE 1.0.1 installed on a XP SP2 2 GiB RAM.

Automatic .exe installer, compatible with XP, Vista, Windows 7, 32 and 64 bit. Works with Steam.
An alternative archived version requiring manual installation, use this if you are experiencing trouble with automatic installer.

A real let down to the reputation of the Complete franchise. The SHOC 2009 version admittedly did an excellent job of improving the game while changing as little gameplay as possible. This attempted to do the same but leaves us with a mod that unless you have a lucky run is virtually unCOMPLETEable. And the fact that after a brief half hearted attempt to put things right when the users found problems after release they just dumped it and ran makes me look for a 0 mark rather than the 1 I've reluctantly…

i actually made a realistic weapons addon... but before i was finished looking over everything, my friends PC i was doing everything on crashed and i lost the data... :( if i get time i'll do it all again.
I did the exact same thing because the one thing about vanilla S.T.A.L.K.E.R. I really hated was the water-pistol weapon damages. Yet the AI had the magical ability to rip you a new one in just a few shots lol. ;)

I have a strange bug. After i come to second location, the one in train station in Janow, I can't speak with pilot again and with tehnic Azot. I can't finish mission with choppers balck box cos technic Azot must decypher it and there is no notification when i stand next to him givinge me opportunity to talk with him, just his name, no Talk(F). any1 know maybe why it's happend?
I died, and now whenever I load a save (ANY save) the game crashes. What the f*** is this?
I have a suggestion, is it possible to add the fixes from Sound Overhaul v2.0 (The weapon sight and other fixes,Animations for weapons) some weapons have bad sights and reload animations (shotguns,VAL and others).Thanks again for the great MOD.

It would appear that the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. CoP Complete Mod may mute the HUD Sounds. How can I fix this?
The "Contact" Beep/Blip that should be heard when an NPC/PDA is in range like it does in SoC and CS is not working. When I get close to NPC's/Zombies/etc., the numbers go up but no sound is heard.
What file do I look at and what line should be adjusted so the sounds are there again?
I am not always paying attention to my HUD in the corner so I don't always see the number rise or fall so I like to hear the little Beep so I know when someone else is in range.
I have searched through the installed "system.ltx" file and all the files for the ui and HUD in the "gamedata" folder and have tried to compare them with Mod's that mute the "contact" sounds but I cannot find the difference.
Every file I look at shows:
[hud_sound]
hud_sound_vol_k = 1.0
hud_step_sound_vol_k = 0.7
and also show that contact_1.ogg and contact_8.ogg are the sounds necessary, and they are in the correct folder and everything.
Sometimes, the numbers are a bit different but no matter what changes I make, including removing the section, does nothing to make the sound come back. I have even tried replacing the sound files (contact_1 and contact_8) with known good ones from both SoC and CS (which both do work in those games), just in case it is the sound file that might be corrupt... but nothing happens...
The reason I would like this is because I like tweaking the files to create my own "Mod's" for the games... like the POS-1 Scope for the SVD... I don't like the POS-1 similar to the COD4, the Red Dot is too huge so I modified the one with the black reticle to have a tiny Red Dot over the *^* in the center.
Please help me to fix this so I can hear NPC's near me!
Can anybody here please tell me how to get the absolute fullscreen scopes working for all weapons? I tried replacing the relevant files with the fullscreen versions from absolute scopes v 1.2 (16:9) and edited the weapons.ltx file so the sniper rifles and pso sight would use the same texture but all sights are pretty messed up and terribly missaligned, the edges are missing, etc.
Any ideas?
btw, those textures work properly in Shoc Complete 2012!
