Call of Pripyat Complete is the third entry in the Complete mod series, which is a set of modifications created by professional artists dedicated to enhancing the production quality of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game series. The Complete mods emphasize on improving the original graphics, sound, and atmosphere of each game while preserving the core game elements.

Built upon the success of Stalker Complete 2009, which was downloaded by one in every five S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl players, this entry in the Complete mod series is the cumulative culmination of the series’ achievements in aesthetically updating the game without introducing unnecessary or gameplay-redefining features.

People installing the 1.0.1 LITE experience crashes after the cut-scene of Jupiter Underground ( when their team first enter it to reach Pripyat ).

This is due to some missing climates used underground. As they do not eat much resources, instead of deleting the climate change script and degrading your game, you can simply re-add them, and enjoy more variation in climates in a fully working CoP.

Tested and working with LITE 1.0.1 installed on a XP SP2  2 GiB RAM.

one thing I never understood in call of pripyat is that at a few occasions youre being told that the tools or otherthings are located at the cordon and being hold by the trader ( from the original and clear sky) but as far as i know theyre are only 3 maps in call of pripyat. could anyone give me an answer on that?

Well the developers decided that the rest of the Zone(the old maps) didn't fit into the characters story so the rest of the Zone that we know and love got cut out of Call of Pripyat! :(

It probably has to due with the fact that they had one year to make the game, and spent a large part of that focusing on the larger maps. Filling those extra levels with npc/mutants/quests/story, ect can take a while, and GSC doesn't have a crew in the hundreds like many studios with huge publishers do. Its already quite a feat that they have put out 3 games all a year apart as an independent studio.

I'm willing to do/allow merges or whatever, but currently RCOM is still in Beta anyway. It also includes work from some other authors, and I'm not sure what the scope of it will be by the time I'm done.

Yes Pripyat is an awfullly boring place once you have completed the missions there. I agree that once you have finnished the story missions, there should be faction missions. Propper good ol' Freedom v Duty faction missions.

S.T.A.L.K.ER: Call Of Pripyat Complete, the Shadow Of Chernobyl equivalent, doesn't live up to the very first in the series, which is a shame. And while the months pass, there hasn't been a single update on any of the pages of the Complete mod division. This mod, as well as it's predecessors, are outdated, bugged and this one in particularly doesn't improve on anything another mod at the moment already does or does better. This mod introduces game breaking bugs, plus that it's always being used…
