Call of Pripyat Complete is the third entry in the Complete mod series, which is a set of modifications created by professional artists dedicated to enhancing the production quality of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game series. The Complete mod series emphasize on improving the original graphics, sound, and atmosphere of each game while preserving the core game elements. Built upon the success of Stalker Complete 2009, which was downloaded by one in every five S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl players, this entry in the Complete mod series is the cumulative culmination of the series’ achievements in aesthetically updating the game without changing the original story or gameplay. Designed to meet the desires of new players and veterans alike, Call of Pripyat Complete unleashes the full potential of the latest, climactic chapter in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R and the Complete mod series.

Automatic .exe installer, compatible with XP, Vista, Windows 7, 32 and 64 bit. Works with Steam.

This installer automates the core installation steps you would normally have to do manually.
Important: The save files from mod version 1.0 are only compatible with 1.0.2 Advanced (see below).

Performance:

The 1.0.2 version features two installation versions to choose between:
Normal - A well balanced combination of graphical features designed to stay within the original game's system requirements. This version is recommended for most systems to ensure a trouble-free gaming experience, especially if using 32-bit Windows, a laptop, or only moderate hardware.
Advanced - Offering a much greater variety in weather conditions and NPC appearances, this version is designed to take full advantage of high performance 64-bit systems with 4GB or more of system memory and at least 1GB of GPU memory. Select this version if you have an enthusiast-level system and are comfortable with significantly increasing the system resource demand.
You may change which mod version you have at any time through uninstalling & then reinstalling the mod. However, while the Normal version saves are compatible with the Advanced version, the Advanced version saves are not compatible with the Normal version.
There are a few issues that may potentially occur on some systems using the Advanced version of the mod due to higher memory requirements:
- General Issues: Crashes on game startup, when loading a save, changing levels, opening crates, during emissions, etc.
- 32-bit Windows: The game engine runs out of memory when loading textures (mostly on 32-bit systems, older generation video cards, laptops, and other lower-spec systems), regardless of GPU manufacturer or how much memory you have installed.
- ATi Crossfire: There seems to be a specific issue with the latest Catalyst drivers which affects the ATi Crossfire systems when running the mod in DX10/11. If this affects you, learn more at the rage3d forums.
Suggested workarounds for the above issues include:
- Move the Texture Detail slider to 75% or less (applies to both Nvidia and ATi users). There's no noticeable loss in visual quality, but the game becomes much more stable while retaining all the DX10/11 enhancements.
- Use DX9 settings (applies to both Nvidia and ATi users).
- ATi Users: Disable Crossfire (if applicable).
- ATi Users: Roll back to last known compatible Catalyst 10.7 drivers (only works on the 5xxx series and below).

The realistic weapons mod from SoC was amazing, is there any way you could make the same compatible .exe mod for CoP?

Same thing happens when i go to search for the documents around the Jupiter factory.I think it is the PC cuz when i had XP and 1 GB RAM i didn't have that problem and now with 1,5 GB RAM on 7 it crashes.I still don't know if i will have a problem with this one just like you cuz i am still downloading it.
Due to how much ram both vista and win7 uses you really need at least 1-2 more GB of ram for the most part with most games. So you are basically looking at having to get more ram.

I'm experiencing a problem when I start the game. After I get the coordinates to the Skadovsk from a Stalker, whenever I get within 100 yards of the Skadovsk the game crashes. Is this unusual or will it be fixed in 1.01?

Pavel you are the best person ever i almost began to cry in joy when i saw that you released CoP Complete.
i see some errors here i mean they are some weapons that if you pick up from the genie in early game you get crash you hsould put wat kind of stuff can make the game crash
To those who crash at launch screen, it is probably that you did not run the game first before you install the mod, I crashed at launch screen too, what I did was uninstall the mod, start a new game and exit, then install mod. Works fine after that.

So this is meant to be the new "End all, Be all" version of the mod? I can delete my backup of the v1.0 version Setup.exe? Do I need to completely uninstall COP and the Complete mods and then reinstall before installing this?
The mod is GREAT ! BUT the game drop me when i try go to Pripyat.I'm with v1.6.02 , when loading screen is starting to load underground before Pripyat i wait fiew seconds , and game crashes. PLEASE HELP

COMPLETE series always seems to be the most stable of the major mods.
This mod is great,although it requires a fast PC.could you make a custom installer so we can choose which components we want to install,Sky folder takes a lot of RAM,i deleted it and performance increased,is there a way to delete atmosfear,without ruining the mod?

ya man i am going to play this all night night long! call of pripyat works without a lagg at all lol i even have shadow of Chernobyl and clear sky on my computer lol and they run just as good lol i even have crysis, warhead add-on, crysis 2, fable tlc, jade empire on my p.c.....all run smoothly haha

Great Mod! I am having quite a few problems with it though, whenever I try to start it up it usually takes 8-10 mins to load, and it takes a good 20secs to open the escape menu or quicksave, anyone else have this problem?
I'm having a problem: I'm in the mission of retrieving the psy artifac for the scientis of the bunker in Jupiter, well, between the time I started until the controller appears my entire HUD disappears including my weapon and can't see my inventory neither do anything except going to the menu. I ony fix it quitting and loading the save again, but it happens again. Since I played SoC 4 years ago using all kind of mods, never happened such thing.

Ok, I seem you guys have done a great job, make those mutants and stalkers acts good without ignoring each others but focus on me.
But you should add the action that stalkers will pick up items on the nearby ground, so I can see them use weapons which didn't have ammo before.
Why I ask for this? because I don't wanna see Vano or others are using toy guns when entering the underground tunnel.
This mod is good, but not good enough.

hey...i just installed the mod but it wont run, nor can i load saved games. it jus gets stuck at the difficulty screen.

How do I increase the speed of bullets? As near as I can tell, the bullets only move as fast as the 'tracers' that fly out when I shoot. These tracers move slow enough for me to watch them lose altitude when they hit their range, which is a gentle slope. To put it simply, the bullets don't move realistically.
