The battle of Stalingrad was pretty much over by early 1943, but considering this is alternate history, I will be retouching some of the dates, it is likely that in this timeline, the battle ended sooner.

Barely readeable, but thats how hand writting looked in that time.
I was wondering what to do with the journals, but as the journals are trying to tell a story, and are English, we could assume the writing in the journals was just written by a type writer. Yet that may not be the same in all cases, so some levels have hand-written text.
