I can see why they were cut.
I think the Burers are crappy looking mutants as well, would be more at home in some D&D fantasy game.
I really think some cut content should be left that way.
Just my opinion of course ;D

Burers are not that bad,
these zombies and their broters with long arms and legs - now that's something to stay cut.

I hate Burers. I despise them. they look stupid. they are stupid. they don't deserve to exist. If I could, I would go on a campaign to wipe out the entire Burer population in the zone. they are the scourge of Chernobyl and deserve nothing more than death.
It would be glorious. The fact alone that I wiped out those despicable irradiated midgets would gain me so much love from every faction that I would use my status to unite everyone in the zone into a single, ruling state built solely on the policy of eradicating those filthy Burers.
Burers ARE that bad.

Burers are retarded and quite annoying, and espacially bland. All they are good for is having their hand amputated in the mod.
I am fine with zombies though, it makes emissions just a tad bit more dangerous.

No , youre fully right - but I also think more content never hurts , if its properly balanced ( these little guys can give you a bit of tension , known from LA ) . I think Bloodsuckers are best designed humanoid mutants for STALKER franchise .

I agree. But I hope it suits the theme and setting the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is known for.

Oh god. One of these bastards scared me so much back in LA. Back then I had no idea they were in game, never seen one before or heard about one and I though I knew every mutant ever, even the cut ones since I played all the STALKERs and many mods.
What I though was an abandoned house turned out to be lair of one of them. I wasn't expecting him in any way, they don't show on radar or the thing that shows number of near stalkers and I'm used to other mutants almost always making some noises. It was during a day, but still, no one near me, I was being extra cautios since I was still a greenhorn... When he ran against me from inside, through the door he got a blast from sawnoff, flew a bit back and landed on the wooden floor... I even felt kinda bad, since I didn't really wanted to kill him, poor bastard... he just scared me and I intuitively shot as soon as I saw that scary stupid grin on his face.

LOL , it was in abandoned house right near the tunnel filled with anomalies in Cordon , right ? The head of the mutant is nicely designed , pretty unnerving looking - if body was designed better , this mutant could be even better .

Dogs, pseudodogs, boars, bloodsuckers, chimeras - those mutants are enough for me. All the others look and feel too weird, even cartoonish in STALKER imo.

With flesh, tushkano and rats. It's enough.

I really hope you add the Karliks to the game, just like the other monsters that were cut from the original STALKER games. More monsters give CoC more longevity, and keeps the playing experience interesting and engaging. With so many maps you need more variety in monsters. Please implement Karliks in 1.4.23 (for real, not just in the spawn menu), that would be awsome!

More content never hurt. I think this mutant is best suited as "Ambush" mutant or "Ganker" mutant, because they look small and agile. They also look more like a goblin than a dwarf (aka Burrer).

I'm honestly more interested in the Tark;
Stalker.wikia.com

It's a Horse mutant.
By the looks of it, it mutated so heavily that it only slightly resembles a horse, JUST like the Flesh.

So for all those people who are into "Immersive", I dare say this one, the Tark, is great for it.

I can't say if Chernobyl had a lot of horses, but knowing there are farms, it's highly possible it may just do have horses.

...As well as donkeys, chicken, cows...
Oh boy, would be great for some more 'original' mutant STALKER models.

Description

Video: Youtube.com

The Karlik mutant existed in early builds of Shadow of Chernobyl and were a subspecies of the Burer, possessing psi-abilities and living in the underground levels.

It wasn't until Call of Pripyat that the Burer finally made out of development hell and into the series, but the Karlik however wasn't as fortunate.

Four variants exist at the moment, with blue, green (default), grey and orange jackets.

Alundaio created new bump and bump# maps for the textures and a new mutant class has been added to the engine.
