I find the default grey for dead bodies difficult to see sometimes. So here's a simple little add-on to render them in blue. I thought blue was appropriate, as the bodies are dead...
Nice, now i found all body :P
Small but usefull, thanks
does this work with any HUD mod?
Great question!
I can't say for sure. It should be ok as long as the HUD mod in question doesn't change this file: gamedata\configs\ui\map_spots_relations.xml . In other words, if you check your gamedata folder and you DON'T already have the above file, then this mod should work.
Thx for responding dude!
Love you!!! (no ****)
I'm using dynamic HUD, and it does change that file. I imagine this is just a change of one line of code? If yes, which one? I could probably merge/patch it myself.
I think you could just overwrite that HUD mod with the blue dots mod...Try that
If that doesn't work, just copy the code from the blue mod to your HUD mod...I suppose :))
Yeah, i found grey dots difficult to see sometimes too, but why not white or black?
I think black would be hard to see too. There's only one line of code changed to achieve this - it's line 30 in map_spots_relations.xml. Just change the r, g,b variables to whatever you want. I use an online coor picker to get the exact shade - eg - Johndyer.name
Thanx) Gonna try)
Great, let me know how you get on.
You're a hero.
Damn. This is way more useful than I thought!
Simple but useful :)
"(works with all versions)".
Hm, i like your personal equation - or your stance.
Thanks...it's the product of a long, hard life comrade.
I respect you, and it's a great simple mod. Please don't take it deep, I was a little bit heedless in that time. But i'm working on a mod too and i'm a little bit confused about COC 1.4.14 status, because i remember in the past that days when 2 patch / day it's a normal thing. I'm working on my mod Since August, and i see your mod name and that "(works with all versions)" words is little bit confused me. Because, in august 2016, the Call of Chernobyl version is 1.3.20, and i'm get a little bit angry about that days, when in 1 day you experiencing 2 patch, and you praying for the gods to not mess up the main mods what you using to create your own.
But why i'm writing this for you? I like your positive attitude, it's a positive statement that "(works with all versions)". No problem, if someone experiencing some bugs about your mod, you solved it ;) It's your first mod and I hope not the last.
Hi -HUN-Riot_Gin,
Don't worry, I didn't take offence in anything you said. Actually it made me think - because although my little mod is only one line of code, it is possible that the developers of CoC might change the HUD at some point in the future. If this is the case, my mod would potentially not work.
So, long story short - I'll change the description to be more accurate. All the best comrade, and good luck with your mod. BTW, does your mod have a page here?
In the the past - 2015 Summer - I have an idea about one Russian mod: Saboteur Hibryd Mod. In this mod have the sh*ttiest weapons i ever seen in my life, in a STALKER MOD.
So, the idea about that: replace the weapons. But the damn mod is so bad: Saves corrupting after xy time, random crashes, etc. etc. You can find it the absolutly joke page about that in the Stalker Call of Pripyat mods, Last update 2015 September. But my now time project is secret, and one little Hungarian Forum knows what i'm working in the COC. I tell you: not a big mod, just a little. Realy little. But i'm have with that a huge amount of work. So, the realease time like early December.
Oh, and do not be afraid: My English Grammar level 99999
this works with the last patch 1.4.19?
Yes, it works with 1.4.20 too. I've updated the description.
Thanks!
This was great in L.A. as well.
I presume this only tracked killed stalkers or zombies. Is there anything in the lines of code that will enable us to track killed animals as well? Sometimes trying to find their carcasses become really tedious especially for tushkano when their color blends with the ground, shadows or during night time.
How to change player's map spot to the old white spot?
do u know some addon that changes the player position on minimap to a white spot???
I liked this idea of this mod but I already had the map dot relations file in my game so instead of installing this I just manually edited the RGB values. I went with R0,G50,B255. I have no idea what your choices were but I tried to copy values they used for other dots vanilla style, so I just replicated allied dot tone and inverted it for blue.
