Call of Chernobyl is a free-play sandbox mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. : Call of Pripyat created by TeamEPIC. Dear Sir,

Honestly, I did not face any heavy bugs in your 1.0 version. The ONLY problem I had, I solved it quickly, due to your advice. All settings on Max!

It works with old saves (tested) but I still began a new game, just to be sure. The initial playing results with 1.5 r4 with all brainscorcher`s graphic add-ons, paranoia`s **** Texture Pack 1.6.5 and “A pinch of spices” graphic packs, your original merge mod and this patch are very promising:

The new outfits from Riot Gin`s 1.1 add-on are available! Thank you Very Much, Sir!

The ammunition sales are close to the standard ones, while their prices aren`t entirely corrected and 30 bullets 5.45x39AP costs 70 rubles, 30 bullets 5.56x45AP could be purchased for 78 rubles, 30 standard for 65 rubles. And a few more calibers like 9x39 are just too cheap. With trader from the Stalker`s faction. Still it is only a minor thing.

The trader sells scoped weapons. Not that I found any lack of scoped weapons from corpses in 1.0…

The Artifact Rebalance add-on is very interesting, and no doubt will be of huge interest from the whole Stalker`s community. An excellent idea, Sir, thank you!

The optional add-on removing the ultra high Run and Jump works admirably, now my stalker movement is much more … human-like. Very well done! The standard weight capacity however becomes 70 kilograms, instead of 50, without any armor.

The new English voices sound very well and add a lot of immersion for the English version of the game. I do understand a little Russian, yet, but when I want to play the English version, it pleases me to hear more English voices. You managed to make a difference, thank you.

Fix for the “Groza”`s textures? I`m sorry, I didn`t knew that its textures had any problem, while I used mainly the groza with my military stalker from the moment you released ver. 1.0. How silly of me!

Ahahha i idnt figure out the groza issue myself , PYP did :) , he also fixed it along with upgrade icons and detachable scops ! Big special credit for him , this was so nice from his part ;)
About the prices i fixed it but i uploaded the first version of the fixe by mistake xD i apologise : ') / the weight carry is normal but i can lower it the next update; ) // about artifacts: its vanilla artifacts rebalanced soon enough ill make a new one for artifact expansion just to make things more clear hihihi
About voices , like i said in the description XD i made an exception for bandits so they have very limited enlish and i wanted to keep the cheeki breeki magic, everyone likes to hear it so i keep it xD for me the game will feel so empty without it :p even with all those stuffs
The nex update will add more stuffs and fixes !!! Thank you brother, for your nice words , u gave me a push of courage; )

The artifact variety makes the hunt more interesting, looking for balance between the good and the bad sides of each artifact separately.
Some voices are almost iconic. I really do like the changes you`ve made as you`ve made it.

I seriously dont see reason to release patch for that type of addon especially if its bug fixing patch for addon that you make previously... so now people would need to download TWO addons instead of one...

You didnt get my point mate -,-! Why they will should to download 1.2 GB for something they already have ? Its better if it was separated , 189 MB for the download, i connected the both by a link from the description! Lets just consider the others who download v1.0 , is it right to let them redownload a whole addon for 189MB patch ? I think no XD

What is 1.2GB today? Even 4mpbs internet can download it in a matter of few minutes. Its not like you gonna download it every day.

Personally I would prefer to have one specific addon in one place. Maybe its easier for some people to get patch separate, but now other people in the future will have problem finding your addons, even if you would put big sign saying that its just a patch they will download it and annoy you with whining why it doesnt work, because main addon is not in front page -_- Seriously I would not be surprised if you gonna get questions like that...

After testing patch 1.1 for a few tens of minutes, I had several crashes repeated at Yanov, for no good reason.

I will test it longer to be able to say whether or not it is related to the patch.

I re-launched a new game and the crashes continue, they seem more frequent than with the unpatched version of the merge addon.

But I can not say where it comes from.

I did a clean install, added the merge mod, then the merge patch and then on top of it I added DRXCoCDynamicAnomalies1.3 and My_Classic_SoC_Flashlight_v1.0 and I also had 3 crashes in Yantar. Specifically when I walked up to the chest box in the base between the containers to check it for loot. When I got near it the game would crash. I then did another clean install and just added the merge mod and merge mod patch and tested two different games, not a single crash. I am currently playing in that zone without a single crash so far. I think maybe he added more mods to the game like I did or didn't do a clean install.

I am unsure but there seems to be few spawns or perhaps longer spawn times now. Before I would just turn around and they would resawpn but now I haven't had anyone new enter the zone yet. It isn't bad but not used to it.

The crashes seem more frequent when I approach the anomaly "Rotten grove" in Yanov, I just had several as a result.

In fact, I do not know. But it becomes clearly impossible to play because of all these crashes, I will try to make a video.

Nop.

I have just reduced the population of mutants and stalkers to a minimum and perform cleaning operations like TuneUp and Ccleaner.

Sometimes these operations can play, it had already solved some stability concerns on other modded games.

I'll see if it changes anything.

Edit : new crash at "Rotten grove" anomaly after a new game, again. Playing in DX9 do not change nothing.

I couldn't recreate the bug my side, everything worked fine. Good luck, I wasn't able to figure anything out. My only advice would be a clean install and re-mod.

DX11 is the most broken renderer to use. You also have use dx10.1 option on when you are using dx11.(I tried using this too with no crash)

Just tried in DX9 enhanced meduim+high settings, no crash.

just tried dx11 identical to what you have in the video except i'm using win7x64 and AMD video card(HDAO ssao)

went around to all of the surrounding anomalies. didnt crash.

Is there anything in your crashlog? if it's blank try doing CTRL+V in it. it might paste some crash info.

PYP , i found the source of the bug with the help of Lucifer, its a bug that appear randomly in different anomalies, uhh finally i maked sure that this bug isnt coming from v1.1 , :D , anyway . If those bugs appeared to anyone just follow my tips to get rid of it (its a temporal solution until i fixe it properly) :
*Open gamedata/config then delete that folder named "items" , thats all
#Note: this temporary fixe will remove the artifacts rebalance until i fixe it ( dont follow my tip if you didn't face this bug)
Everything will turn back to normal and be perfectly stable , !

I just redo a Call of Chernobyl file from the beginning, we'll see.

However, I said that the original game had been slightly modified with the complete mod.

I hope it does not play but the Call of Chernobyl file works in stand alone on my desktop.

And no, crashs continue. :/ But as I said above, the "basic" version of Call of Chernobyl and before the patch 1.1 for the Merge Addon seemed more stable.

I just saw, I think it's too early to make a radical decision.

From what I know, and I'll check it out again, to be certain, version 1.0 of the merge addon looked more stable.

Maybe other people have my problem too.

It would be necessary for people to test on a "clean" pc recently installed and updated with a "clean" version of COP, COC updated and the 1.1 of merge addon.

On this release page for the mod there are a ton of suggested help and recommendations for the game settings you may want to take a look at and see if anything there would help you out.

I have half a day play, but no crashes up to now. My bad.
Doing the first mission from sergeant Spooner in Agroprom I found in my stat record 2 mutants and 46 stalker but ... not a single bug. I`m so sorry. (lol)

Provisional solution for those who have worries of crashes with this patch:

Go to your gamedata / config then delete that folder named "items" and reload your save. This is a quote frome the mod author.

Hello ColonelRH...your mod its perfect!!!you did a great job and its priceless...i only have a few things that i didnt like and are the sell of weapons in any status of damage and the jump and run...i like if you say me how do i remove them because for me it takes the fun of the game...mostly because i play it for about 2 hours and it was very easy to make money and buy weapons or outfits and for me the real thing is about surviving in the zone and save money to buy things and save weapons that are not very damaged and repair them and selling and explore and everything else...thats all that i didnt like of the mod...about everything else is perfect...the loot money at least dont give huge amount of money and is nice too to go back when searching bodies give you stashes coordinates...thank you!!!! :D

ColonelRH finally i do it myself...i delete in configs all the content in the binder "misc" and for the jump and run i delete actor.ltx...nothing goes wrong...again this mod is perfect...thank you again and for the answers because i saw that you try to answer all the questions...i send you greetings from Argentina!!!!!!

I think that is the actual game. It has always been if you get a headshot your dead.
Maybe you have hardcore AI turned on, you may want to turn it off.

And with 40 KG armor no, shots to the foot from a pistol shouldnt be instakill

It could possibly just be that armour set though, maybe swap it out for another armour set. I found selling artifacts to be a solid way to make cash for armours. I just change zone to zone and gun to all the anomalies zones and get what I can and move on. Just about 5 artifacts and you can get about 50k+ ~ 200k. Perhaps by armour that is chest and then a helmet armour set. May work out better for you.

For example in this merge mod i remove myself the voices in english...not for nothing...i enjoy more the game with russian voices...if you said me what files i will be happy!! Thanks...

If you want to remove English voices just open gamedata / sounds and delete characters voices then run your game and enjoy your gameplay :D ,, have fun !
