Call of Chernobyl is a free-play sandbox mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. : Call of Pripyat created by TeamEPIC. It features 32 explorable maps, reworked level design and level fixes, new original level, Trucks Cemetery, Full AI and A-Life overhaul, engine and script enhancements, Repeatable task system which bases itself on A-Life events, Customizable weather environments for every map as well as surges and psi-storms from AF3, Character creation which includes name, portrait and faction selection; Several optional modes such as Ironman mode, story mode and zombie survival mode, New achievements, rankings and reputation system, PDA leaderboard and enhanced PDA statistics, Companion system with keyboard issued commands, many optional side-features and community-made addons . Description
This addon makes the player a little more immersed into the game, with the insertion of some quotes playing sometimes when the weapon jams. I've reworked it and it features some improvements.

Unfortunately you're right. Originally this addon was based on Shoker mod as it had various improvements over vanilla CoP.
CoP major drawback is its own engine I guess

No, I haven't prepared a preview track.
However for hearing the sounds before playing you can download the addon as it has little weight and listen to the .ogg files in gamedata/sounds/cutscenes
Hmm what if it doesn't work? I remember something about adding some lines into a certain .cfg file or something along the line to make any mod work, is it still necessary or is it just paste&play;? Cuz I don't hear anything when a weapon jams.

it should work without any issue just by copy-pasting gamedata on CoC main folder
Very creative, I like the idea of this a lot. Adds a lot to the immersion, my character acts how I feel when this happens! :D
The problem with this mod is that you do swear unless you try to shoot after the gun jams, and when the gun jams it automatically stops shooting, so there's no incentive to continue trying to shoot when you know it's jammed, so I rarely get to see this mod in action, which is a shame.
Will be perfect if sound play directly when gun jams for replacing ...weapon jam... text, not when try to shoot after gun jam.
