Call of Chernobyl is a free-play sandbox mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. : Call of Pripyat created by TeamEPIC. It features 32 explorable maps, reworked level design and level fixes, new original level, Trucks Cemetery, Full AI and A-Life overhaul, engine and script enhancements, Repeatable task system which bases itself on A-Life events, Customizable weather environments for every map as well as surges and psi-storms from AF3, Character creation which includes name, portrait and faction selection; Several optional modes such as Ironman mode, story mode and zombie survival mode, New achievements, rankings and reputation system, PDA leaderboard and enhanced PDA statistics, Companion system with keyboard issued commands, many optional side-features and community-made addons . Call of Chernobyl was player's choice Mod of the Year 9th place in 2015 and 1st place in 2016!
A HUD for Call of Chernobyl, Call of Misery, Last Day and other CoC/CoM mods that merges features from CoM, Last Day, A.R.E.A, and AA2. It should also work with Call of Pripyat and its mods, but has not been tested there. This HUD uses CoM's screen-wide bleeding effect instead of using the bleeding icon. It uses A.R.E.A's improved border bleeding texture. It has options to selectively enable and disable the minimap, ammo counters, and the radiation hazard icon.
Nice work!
So tempted to get rid of nanohud for this, especially if that crosshair is a dot.
The crosshair isn't set by the HUD, but it's easy to tweak yourself if you want to use it in nanohud. Make a backup copy of configs/system.ltx, edit it, scroll down to the hud_cursor section and set max_radius to 0.0. Or cut and paste the values below over the ones you have already.
[hud_cursor]
;все размерv в процентах от длинv экрана
cross_length = 0.0010 ;0.0015
min_radius = 0.0
max_radius = 0.0
radius_lerp_speed = 0.08
cross_color = 0.7,0.7,0.7,0.5
disp_scale = 0.08
Thank you a ton. I've loved Misery's style of dot crosshair.
legend says: stalkers dont use crosshairs, and true stalkers dont use even optic scopes
i have so system.ltx ??? any idea what i can do ?
Open it with Notepad
v1.1 adds an option to show/hide the weapon, armor, helmet condition icons. The default is to have them invisible since you can see the condition readily in your inventory. If you prefer them visible, use the option.
v1.2 adjusted the location of the thirst icon and only affects those playing Last Day. I'd forgotten to lower the ico's position in 1.1.
The Last Day thirst support is very standalone and using that gamedata in CoC or CoM should just work to give you thirst in your game. I haven't tested it, but it's easy to try out. If you don't like it, delete scripts/drink.script and you will have a non-thirst game again. Icons for it are always included in the HUD - they just won't be activated if the script isn't there.
any chance at a version without the ammo counter? I like knowing what type of ammo is loaded but I don't really need the counter.
First paragraph of the description "It has options to selectively enable and disable the minimap, ammo counters, and the radiation hazard icon."
Thanks for pointing that out.
The ammo counter-less version even moves the ammo box and the fire mode indicator further down and to the right to match the left side of the hud.
It isn't obvious what elements are enabled and disabled by default.
Something is wrong with the drinking:
If you delete the drinking script to remove drinking, it then adds it back into the game.
If you add the "remove - thirst" from the mods list that comes with Last Day, it removes drinking from the game but causes the game to crash whenever you rest.

The addons script is ridiculously broken - like it's not even valid Lua code and a single run would've shown this, heck just eyeballing the script with one eye closed would show it. Dunno what they were doing when adding most of those addons. I run WinMerge to check out their changes before adding any of them, they're so full of bugs. The A.R.E.A sound addon is another drag and drop hack job breaking many folks' games.
Use the remove thirst addon here, it's correct: Moddb.com. This is a nice pack in general.
Aaah, Cheers mate, much appreciated.
i have no idea how these scripts and such work.
Also, i experienced the A.R.E.A crashes first hand... had to disable them as well.
Great HUD btw. Thanks for your quick reply and mod.
HS.
Will this add features like weapon overheating?
No, it's a hud
This works as is with Last Day 1.3, no changes required.
The option file to hide ammo counter is not working.
Hi there! If I may ask, would it be possible to replace the Player dot on the minimap with either the north-south arrows from the default CoC hud, or nothing? The grey dot that indicated player position at a glance looks pretty much identical to a dead body dot, and it does get rather confusing sometimes.
Hello!
Im trying to install this beaty hud for my Last day + 1.3 + patch + english mod like this:
1. copy the gamedata folder to the main folder, then overwrite
2. copy the last day gamedate folder to the main folder, then overwrite
3. im starting the last day mod, new game / load game, and when the load screen is nearly finished, i hear a "windows notification voice" then the program shuts down instantly, no error message.
Somebody could help me what went wrong whit this?
(sorry for my bad english)

Any ideas on how to get this to work? I really need a customizable HUD, I don't want to see my ammo.
I have the same problem
Hi, could you please add few more pictures so I can see more clearly what this addon does? Cheers!
I am running Last Day 1.3+ with the patch from 14.03.2018 and after installing the mod like You explained my game crashes while trying to load a savegame. Could You help me out? :/
I keep getting this crash log
FATAL ERROR

Hello all,
I was messing around with this mod trying to get it to work.
By editing the file ui_slot_hud.xml that is in gamedata\configs\ui adding the line:
"<companion_wnd x="175" y="694" width="600" height="86" always_scroll = "0"></companion_wnd>" that i took from the vanilla last day file of the same name, the mod loads.
I have not tested much beyond this so a misplaced hud element could appear at some point.
here is a link to the fixed file:
Dropbox.com 1.2 fix.rar?dl=0
Not working with OA_EE, after loading a level, it crashes when the loading hit 100% and i get this error log:

Did what Rob_GEn said, worked like a charm
Works great with Dead Air.
Cheers!

Perfect !
you did a great ******* job on this hud man...absolutely killed it
and pro-tip...install smurths hud first...then drag this **** on there and you have the sickest setup ever.
'Weapon, outfit condition visible' and 'invisible' catalogs contain 'readme' for 'ammo counters visible'. I haven't tested it yet, however I'm worried they also do the same and don't actually hide conditions, cause the lines connected to their indicators are not changed (if I'm not looking at the wrong lines). Any way to hide ammo counters AND equipment conditions?
I managed to launch the game. It actually doesn't show conditions, maybe it's set that way by default. That's good.
However it's not compatible with CoC's extended hud, something's wrong with showing companions' data and it crashes even without having any.

Oooh, I can disable the minimap with this mod. Neat!
Soon, I'm going to try it out.
I'm using the hud and it's pretty good, but i have a question, i want to add the minimap, after i merge the files, i need to create a New Game?
no
