Deus Ex Total Conversion mod spawns a new genre. This unique and fun to play mod has received a lot of praise, especially me. Putting this mod in the DX Mod list shows how much this mod stands out with creativity.

Review

Yes, most of us DX Modders know the well made mod BO8P. Set in a mundane suburban setting in a light comedic tone, this mod is already unique compared to other DX mods. With a well written story, humerous dialogue, fun goals and an interesting concept, this mod certainly is great. The question is how great?

STORY: You play as a programming gaming purist Peter Kent, who needs to make money for a big party with his best friend named Rich. A cool dude named Callum is always by his 4WD to drive you to any desired location. As part of the story you go to your apartment, office, hillside tavern and a mall at the start. There are other secret locations that I don't want to spoil.

CREATIVITY: BO8P has such a unique concept along with a relaxing suburban setting that really stands out in the DX Mod list. The memorable characters, the fun and amusing goals and the overall package is just stunning and creative.

GAMEPLAY: This mod is really fun to play, from doing favours to earn money to the "boss battle" is just so excelent I want to play it again and again. There is great use of DX-ish secrets such as hidden notes and great multi pathed areas.

CONTENT: Along with a great story, you have hilarious and well done voice acting, simple yet inspiring locations and quite a bit of secrets. To get a perfect verdict score in the end, you'll have to explore and find out all the secrets from action figures to playing a certain mini game and perfecting it to making wise choices.

OVERALL: This mod is none below impressive, simple yet creative and replayable. I have been playing this mod again and again since I first installed it. From getting different endings to perfecting the scores is just a great journey. Sure the mod is relitavely short but a fun to play mod overall. It would be interesting to see more mods like this, particularly mine :D
