Ver 1.8.4 of BSG Galactica - Dawn of War Freelancer mod is now available for download, with yet again many new features and enhancements, bringing a whole new experience of the game:
- New and additional BSG battleships and stations (Guardian Basestar , Resurrection Hub, Scorpion shipyard....)
- More cannon weapon systems. New BSG guns, missiles, flaks. Rebalanced ships.
- Extended exploration to find Earth, with challenges inspired by the series finale.
- Single player style, 10 level PvE challenge systems.
- Custom BSG cockpit views
- Many ships, stations and planets re-skinned with improved hi-res textures and illumination maps
- New racetrack and event systems
- Additional or improved visual effects, sound, music etc....
...and as usual a few surprises that cannot be revealed
Not to forget all the great stuffs added in previous release: FTL jumps , player battleship docking , Valkyrie, Rebel Baseship, Blackbird, flyable resurrection ship, complete fighter and freighter fleet ...
Events will be organised on the server on a regular basis.

how to update the game to 1.8.1? I have version 1

In this latest version, we have introduced a set of systems in which you can play (on the same server) in a Single Player or Cooperative style: you have to complete a challenge against NPCs to move to the next (harder) level, without being bothered by other players ;)
I hope this one is great. The video provoked me and I enjoy the show. I am glad Freelancer players are still out there, all who are are my best friends. I hope to meet you in space.....
