This game has about 20 levels made for it so far. I plan on making this very epic, and would enjoy feedback. Just download the game and leave comments and you'll make my day. Just saying, this Game has horror elements, and some maggots and flies from Feb24 Brutal doom v21. you've been warned. Ask me permission if you want to use anything from this project.

No, the game itself is called Dark. It has a completely different story. It's actually pretty creepy, now that I think about it. I'll try editing the summary or whatever, thanks.

great concept, just that the missing textures, claustrophobic to too open areas, and just execution is bad. I’d love to have a sound pack from this mod for the current V21 release. Again, not bitching about anything but level design and textures. Great job at replacing the monsters and almost completely overhauling them. Keep working on the level design and maybe some of the enemy sprites. Also, love the effects you added. Other than that, great mod, good weapon sounds, and nice enemy effects

Hi there! U've placed Brutal Doom v20b .pk3 file in the package so it is not playable until the file is changed to version 21. You should change it in the .zip. What's more I cant run the mod itself... when I start Dark.exe it enters a menu with background which says "Dark" but when I start a new game it just starts on the same level of classical Brutal Doom, what's the thing? Where are the maps u've done or are they accessible after some progress in game is made?

You didnt replace HellOnEarthStarterPack.wad, did you? because,to be honest, to make my game work I deleted simply all the Brutal doom maps in hellonearthstarterpack.wad, so they shouldnt even exist. also, as for Brutaldoomv20b issue, I renamed it that because the .exe runs the file named brutaldoomv20b by default. I Began making this with v20. If nothing works, I am going to update this frequently, so maybe it will work then? Also note the weapon sprites, with a few exceptions, are the same as BDv21.

Delete Lights.pk3, its just trash I accidentally left behind. It has never caused problems before, but whatever.

Great friggin job! Also, the Sniper Rifle is so damn rad. I just wish if there's some sort of way to be able to have it itself as a whole WAD to be able to equip it on Brutal Doom.

Very nice work there! I spent some time in on it and I can say it looks really promising, it has the usual faults and problems of every alpha.
Some textures missing here and there, some graphical elements to improved such as the shape of some scenarios and the objects found around, the SMG being "pixelated", some dead animation have single wrong frames (the zombies had for an instant the animation of the vanilla Imp for example), "Jump target 'playerisidle' not found in knife" being spammed in the console when I pick the knife, some more sound effects to be added, and so on.
But the concept is excellent and the first result is already awesome. Keep it up with the good work!

There are some missing important textures from beginning(no button for finishing level)+beta is still unbeatable since 2nd boss. a) Nothing happens after all of them are dead; b) There still are no enough ammo for beating boss(-es) without using console command "get ammo"

So I just finished playing up to the Hospital level (haven't beaten it since the exploding guy killed me) and have some thoughts. I think the atmosphere is well built in most places, the dark area in the Tunnels level with the dark creatures was great, I turned my brightness down and could only see their eyes and it really made a great, actually scary area. The weapons and gameplay is quite intriguing. The wall textures are quite bland is probably my main critique, but it makes sense for an early build. I think I found a bug where there seemed to be a dripping blood animation that followed me around (I heard a constant dripping sound and found the blood drip animation following me like a footstep). I like the water splashing and the way you've made water work. One other thing is it would be good if you could find a way to better color code doors, the six doors in the Hospital level for example, on the left side, one was unopenable, one was locked, and one had an exploding enemy in it, I would like to see the locked one color-coded so you can tell its locked.
