Brutal Doom v19 Derp Edition is another addon for Brutal Doom (do not drag this with Brutal Doom) that adds enemeis and weapons.SCROLL DOWN IN THE DESCRIPTION TO FIND THE CHANGELOG! RECENT CHANGES: Added some flesh impact sounds from Project MSX, Added adjustments for the menu screen, Added a new pistol based off of Accessories to Murder, Tweaked most of the pistol's reloads, Added a new casing (Credits to Quaker540), Added new title screen music (Black Ops 1 Verruct Loading Music). I just got Black Ops 1 as a present from my cousin, so... DUN DUN DUN!!!


Recent News: the next update for Derp Edition is going to take a huge while. I'm super busy with life. I don't have time to work on Derp Edition at all (sorry!). In the meantime, I had this in my Dropbox for a long while. Take a nice shot at this TNT Metal Music WAD (yes, Lorcàn and JD Hererra. Also Kira. Credits to them, I think. I haven't downloaded this yet).

This Music WAD will update eventually. I am also going to upload the music WADs I use instead of Doom Metal Vol 4 (part of Doom Metal Vol 4 is good. I kinda missed the old volumes of Doom Metal).

This is the weirdest mod, yet this is how I play Brutal Doom (because I love heavy arsenals and MOAR ENEMIEZ). All I did was the same as PA1NKI113R. I just combined everything into one crazy mod. You must have the latest G/ZDoom build. No Zandronum Compatibility.

DO NOT DRAG THIS WITH BRUTAL DOOM V19!

This mod features:

-like definetly over 50 weapons (definetly!)
-randomization of monsters that range from tough to overpowered
-All of my favorite weapons from all of my favorite mods.
-modified BYHAE Weaponry
-Armor and Russian Overkill sheilds
-somewhat new powerups (credits to pillowblaster)
-PA1NKI113R Weaponry (well, sorta)
-can't type everything in!

Brutal Doom v19 Derp Edition has lots of weaponry and bestiary. It contains 75.9 MB (v3.6.4) of such a curel arsenal and a few monsters. This mod is designed to be an overkill mod, and the most challenging mod of all time. V4.0 of this mod will come out when v20 of Brutal Doom is released. Oh, and remember, STAY BRUTAL, RIP, TEAR, DESTROY, COMMAND AND CONQUER!

All credits go to all of those awesome mod makers and for the most part, Sergeant Mark IV, Das_M, TiberiumSoul, and Quaker540 for such awesomeness. This is my first mod/addon. I love feedback, and I love other people's reviews about this addon, so please, post a comment about what you think, and I will fix my mistakes, if possible. If you would like to help me with this mod, HELP WILL BE GLADLY APPRECIATED!! I also did the same as PA1NKI113R. Just merged this together just for my enjoyment and wanted to share my Brutal Doom experience with others. Also, THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH BYHAE!

Oh, changes since v3.6.5:

-Kinda patched up the Baron's Comet Hellstorm Attack (Awwwwwwww... I loved that)
-Added a Quad Shotgun Zombie (you probably will see this very often in maps like the Brutalized Maps Set... I like that enemy)
-Added 2 new weapons (a new assault rifle, and a BFG Shotgun)

Downloaded and tried this. This is actually alot of fun and the weapons are cool.

One thing though, the Baron's "Comet" attack is a cheap insta-kill. I suggest remove this. I think I've seen the Hellknight do it aswell.

Also that shield which makes you invincible until your armor runs out ruins the challenge somewhat. I've also had my armor go up to 999% and ended up being invicible permanently. Why not keep the standard 200/200% setup?

The shields are a reference to Russian Overkill, yet people at my High School that have been play testing my mod says that the enemies are too overkill. Oh, and that''s a good reason why to never kick a Baron's/Hell Knight's Balls. Or to never **** them off.

This was kind of the reason why I wanted RO Shields in my mod.

Oh, and do you mean armor or shields? Because I implemented both for protection.

I think if the shields reduced the amount of damage you take to say 1/2, 1/4 of normal would be much better than invincibility.

Aside from the Baron, I've found the monsters to work well with regards to difficulty. That comet attack should be removed IMO and replaced with the original 3-way fireball spread, or atleast nerfed so it's not a cheap instagib even at full health/armor.

Okay, for the next update, I'm adding 2 new weapons. One's another rifle related to X-Weapon and PA1NKI113R. The other weapon is another BFG from X-Weapon/PA1NKI113R's mod. Now, we have seen the Plasma Shotgun from both mods. Not that powerful. So now, I'm turning that into a BFG Shotgun.

There some button to reload the weapon which I do not know? I have "R", but not work, because waiting for the charger without any indication of how many bullets you have left it as a certain dead with this deadly enemies.

All this is just an idea, I personally love the frenetic combat,but here I have the feeling that death is too easy, and fall the feeling of control, I think what Brutal Doom has triumphed among other things to offer something in the medium.

For reload, you have to go into he menu where you assign keys, and scroll to the bottom where the BD options are. For some reason though, I have to re-assign the the reload key every time I start the game.

I agree with you on the sounds, don't like the new monster sounds. The zombies are obnoxious while the demons and barons can barely be heard.

I think there is too much ammo aswell, especially bullets. I am rarely under the max amount possible. I think the zombies drop like 5 clips and chaingunners an entire box, that is overkill.

Seriously, remove the baron/knight comet attack, restore original monster sounds, remove the shield's invincibility and tweak the ammo and this could well be the best and most fun version of BD out there! Otherwise this is actually a pretty well polished mod, nothing "derp" about it, the guns are cool with great sprites and aside from the hell nobles monsters are quite well balaned.

Most of the zombie sounds came from other mods that I found funny and interesting. The other enemy sounds... came from either Quake 4, Doom 3 (for the most part), or some other game. For the next update, I will kinda patch up the Baron's Comet Hellstorm attack (so that it only fires one comet instead of 3). Now come to think about it, shouldn't this be called:

Brutal Doom v19 TiberiumDoom Edition?

you have to bind a key for "Reload" somewhere under the Brutal Doom Key Sections. Binding a key "Weapon Reload" doesn't work. You have to use Brutal Doom's custom reload key

I just wanted to reinforce the importance of the original sound, for me it is very important.

After so many years played the doom, I can not just conceiving new sounds for monsters, I find it cartoonish, I have the feeling that loses seriousness, and immersion.

It was just that.

I don't suppose we could get a separate comprehensive list (.txt) of all of them? The messages that come up whenever you acquire a new weapon in the game often end up being too fast to read.

The "It's over 9000"? Where did you find that? And the Minigun firing Atom Bombs? Do you mean that explosive minigun? Not to mention that I had to implement the shields for the reason that there were too insane monsters (meh, they're actually fine in my opinion).

That's kinda a problem. Especially with the Flipping off sounds. I kinda have a problem with that, especially with all of the 5 player classes. Not to mention that I don't just want one sounds for the flipping off. I want certain characters to have their different sound files. If you can fix this, please pm me. This is something I was trying to fix for a long time, yet I got nowhere.

The shields were implemented in there for a purpose, because of SOOOOOOO many people at my high school saying that the Enemies are too overkill. I thought the shields would do some good, and I am satisfied with the enemies in Brutal Doom Derp Edition. Now, about the monster sounds, in the next update, I will make that a sound mutator that will come with Brutal Doom v19 Derp Edition (honestly, I want this to be beyond "DERP")(it won't be in the mod. It will be a seperate PK3. Honestly, I love the sounds from other mods like TiberiumSoul's mods, Doom 3, and Quake 4. I will remove them and add them as a sound mutator for the next update)

Well, I would need help with that. I understand that you guys have been wanting the old Vanilla Doom Sounds, but I tried to remove the sounds, and tried to make it a mutator. I am making a version with the sounds and without the sounds, because the mutator messes up Brutal Doom v19 Derp Edition. There will be no mutator. There will be 2 seperate versions. I have that bug too. I don't know what's going on, yet I think you need to edit the ZDOOM(your Windows Username).INI text file. If it still doesn't work, please reply. After playing a mod like weapons of saturn, I do have to bind the keys again for anything thats Brutal Doom.
