Brick Life: A Half-Life 2 Modification Our goal is to mix the fast paced, action packed world of Half-Life 2 with the unique, interesting atmosphere and fun world of lego, at the minute have three basic goals: *Recreate Half Life 2 (1-3 maps per chapter) with a fun and interesting new atmosphere. *Create all the Half Life 2 characters and some props. *Make Ravenholm 1/3 Less terrifying (still spooky). Needs work, the train looks ok but the building could use more detail. Maybe make a domed ceiling, for instance. Add more wall detail, and make some structures around the platform. Change the lighting so it has more shadows and a more interesting color, you could also bring down the lightmap scale so the shadows from the ceiling are more defined.

XD, I like legos a bit myself, can't wait to see what Alyx is gonna look like... I agree with Gunter about the work needed on the map, and you need to make Breen a lego guy... This is gonna be first-person, right? Oh and an idea: make some part offending megablocks lol... The level names need a bit of work, they seem a bit too much for 6 year olds, or like lame jokes. 'Brickenholm''Red Lego Brick Day'... uh, yeah... But I can see how you don't have everything done... Try to find a way to alter the bricks, like add scratches, posters, or shading. I love how it all fits together, everyhting looks like it actually was made of lego! I could see every one of these taken in a real picture. The joints, the moving parts... Not even official videogame companies based on lego took the time to do that. Take that, Lego Star Wars... This mod proves that the company could have done a lot better! You could also make some of the posters in City 17 complement lego selling private companys... Stuff like 'Brickarms- Make your guns look like they came from a real world, or stuff like that. Even teaseing lego star wars, indiana jones, and batman... Add things complementing or critisizing other lego sets and types... like Miners or Agents. You could really make this a good mod, cus theyres so much interesting stuff to throw in. Good luck, sorry if I'm a critic.
