BRAvPED is a mod for the game B.R.E.E.D. based upon the Alien, Predator, and Aliens vs Predator (movie / games) series. The gameplay is meant to feel like AvP and AvP2's, but with vehicles and more player classes. The mod's first priorities are MP mode, and balance and gameplay. Realism and SP are secondary. The mod will also hopefully be made portable to all games on the Mercury / Mercury 2 engine.

The mod is now set to inactive. Help is hard to come by, and there is not enough information on the Mercury engine. No tools, and tools were being made by someone else so I pressed on, but now that seems to have died. Until there is someone who can make some tools, more information on the engine, or the Mercury 2 engine is about with tools that can finally help this mod get into the game, the mod will be at a stand still.

I've tried to e-mail the person who was working on the tools and got no response from them :/ I guess some time when I feel like it I'll have to attempt to crack the format myself... might be a while until then, though.
CDV doesn't like to respond to e-mails, besides they aren't in control of the dev tools, BRAT Designs is. BRAT claims that if they release tools people can easily make their own entire game, so they wont do it. Someone WAS making their own model viewer/exporter, but they stopped working on it after they made the viewer part, or at least never let anyone know they finished...
skrew fox, plenty of movies and serries are defeloped into mods and they are never seud or called to a halt either...

Yes, Mercury is the name of the BREED Engine. Unfortunately, in case you didn't notice, the mod is inactive right now, as even though models can be made an dsuch, there is no tools to import them.
So is Mercury engine the same as B.R.E.E.D. engine, or what?
