My name is Matt Winston. I'm a 22 years old student, making a living with working in the shopping mall of Heaven's Gate. My family moved up north, I stayed because of my studies. I live in a room in a house owned by friends of my parents. In my spare time I used to go to the beach with my friend Shorty and enjoyed live at its best: sun, fun and nothing to do. Yes, life was good.
Until today...
30th of January is a day to remember: the day of change. It was in the early morning when the chaos started: roaming hordes of bloodthirsty men ran through the city, killing everybody at sight. There were rumours about an army experiment and problems with the nuclear reactor. By 12 a.m., half of the city's population was part of the cannibal horde, about a thousand were killed in car accidents and by gunshots from personal firearms. U.S. Army forces moved into the city to rescue as many as possible. They soon had to realize that the only way to stop the cannibal hordes was to shoot them. I love this game! You can play alone in a struggle of survival with the zombies, exciting maps and more! I think you can download more unofficial maps made by fans in the official site, just too bad that the site is in under construction.

Ya..whatever...some people just prefer working together besides them always having to be enemy nadgood guys...lest with this one you cna all happily work together...exept for when people switch over and cheat or hack or do whatever they can to be thoughs borring zombies.
this mod is fun for about 10 min, then it gets repetitive and boring, so so damn easy. The best zombie mod for hlaf-life out there has got to be zombie panic- more realistic, more hard,(no bots, real people are hunting u down), and more fun
1. no varity with the zombies: You might as well have made them all barneys. You see the same 2 zombies over and over again
2. The PVP. The PvP is compleaty unbalenced as the zombie players have the same type of upgrades as they did when they were a human. This allows them to go jumping, runing and killing every human in site.
In my opinion this is one of the best mods for Half-Life.
BrainBread could have just thrown you and some buddies into an arena with zombies, but they did so much more. The rpg-like stat system works extremely well and adds variety to a game to mix things up a bit, and the ability to come back as a zombie to eat your buddies adds lots of comedic value.
This is still a frequently played mod and there are always servers available, so if you haven't yet I highly recommend downloading and giving this a shot.
Just remember, aim for the head!

Well winnunez and Solidsnake You need to get Half-Life 1 WON Version(Which you can't buy anymore)
to play Brainbread with out steam and WON is the old Online Service for Half-Life before steam was made.
is there a way to turn off zombie mode? I went to a server one time and it was disabled, and i liked that.
all you have to do is install it into C:\program files\valve\steam\steamapps\steamusername\half-life
it might be wrong just replace the steam username with the name you use on steam if you have steam if you install it correctly restart steam and it will show up on the games list double click and get ready for some zombie madness :devil:
its really hard to install it can any one tell me how to do it right thx
