This modification is intended to improve and enhance your Blue Shift gaming experience. We believe this modification can re-glorify the true potential this game held, since it wasn't subpar to Half-Life and Opposing Force's standards.
Blue Shift: Reassignment intends to:
1. Enhance all models.
2. Improve all weapon, ambience, and numerous miscellaneous sounds.
3. Replace many GUI components such as weapon selection, ammo and special effect sprites.
4. Add new weapons, such as a MP5 and M4, Desert Eagle, and M249.
5. Implement Detail Textures.
We do have more plans for the further improvement of Blue Shift, however they remain secretive as we will reveal them on a later date...
This mod requires the installation of both Half-Life and Blue Shift for the Steam platform.

Welcome to the formal media release of Blue Shift: Reassignment. After being in development incognito for nearly over one year, we have come to present our works. This modification is intended to improve and enhance your Blue Shift gaming experience. We believe Gearbox didn't do a great job with this expansion to Half-Life, and with this modification we can re-glorify the true potential this game held.
Blue Shift: Reassignment intends to enhance all models, most sounds and sprites, implement detail textures, add new weapons and enemy NPCs, and enhance the visual effects via code. We do have more plans for the improvement of Blue Shift, however they remain secretive as we will reveal them on a later date.
this is alive??..it was dead for a veeeeeery long time
well it was recently updated so yea it looks alive to me. Tho I think they may be lacking a proper coder thus holding them back but im not sure about that. :/
We have a coder, but he's drunk 24/7 :P Damn frenchies
lol
COOL Blue Shift: Reassignment
man i'm prayin for the M249 saw~~
YAY I can't wait!
I also just noticed that the M4 has a 20 round mag so thus 20 round for the M4 not 30 :P
Good points all around. We are actually looking into accurately changing the magazine capacity of the weapons just as you've stated (100 for the m249, 9 for the Deagle). I've never heard of 20 for the M4. I need to experiment with that (probably tweak damage variables to make it stronger?). Anyhoo, thanks for the suggestions!
yea the M4 can still use the old M16A1 20 round STANAG mags but for the most part they use 30 round mags these days. The one on your model appears to be the older 20 round mag.
