Hello and welcome to the Blue Shift Reassignment Mod DB page.

This modification is intended to improve and enhance your Blue Shift gaming experience. We believe this modification can re-glorify the true potential this game held, since it wasn't subpar to Half-Life and Opposing Force's standards.

Blue Shift: Reassignment intends to:

1. Enhance all models.
2. Improve all weapon, ambience, and numerous miscellaneous sounds.
3. Replace many GUI components such as weapon selection, ammo and special effect sprites.
4. Add new weapons, such as a MP5 and M4, Desert Eagle, and M249.
5. Implement Detail Textures.

We do have more plans for the further improvement of Blue Shift, however they remain secretive as we will reveal them on a later date...

This mod requires the installation of both Half-Life and Blue Shift for the Steam platform.

Team Reassignment is:

This is a community project. If you are willing to spend some time helping us reach our goal of enhancing Blue Shift, please do not hesitate to email the project coordinator, Ashiq, at blazingarrow.cs@gmail.com, with some work samples.

Thank you for your patience, and please enjoy our media.

Welcome to the formal media release of Blue Shift: Reassignment. After being in development incognito for nearly over one year, we have come to present our works. This modification is intended to improve and enhance your Blue Shift gaming experience. We believe Gearbox didn't do a great job with this expansion to Half-Life, and with this modification we can re-glorify the true potential this game held.

Blue Shift: Reassignment intends to enhance all models, most sounds and sprites, implement detail textures, add new weapons and enemy NPCs, and enhance the visual effects via code. We do have more plans for the improvement of Blue Shift, however they remain secretive as we will reveal them on a later date.

Here is a video presentation, of non-edited gameplay.

Thank you, and please enjoy our images!

Azure Sheep is a map fail, it's full of useless corridors, and the plot hasn't any sense...

Yeah, Azure sheep isn't exactly Dev levels best work. Dav Sub and Point of View were much better.

Blue Shifts ending made me want to steal the car and drave back to black mesa for more, the ending was the worst i have seen second to Decays, "You made it Calhoun, we made it!" That's the kind of ending i hate where they say "You win!" i thought of my own way of continuing Blue Shift, by making that later driving the car gets shot, then later far off in the game you find the Combine, that would make a good ending...

Gotta agree with Minuit,as the Combine didn't arrive for years after.
Anything after Blue Shift can be covered in a mod or something.
