New feature with the Ice Cube. The Ice Cube is being experimented with. The goal is to make the Ice Cube very Vulnerable.

Ice cube sounds like such a silly name sine its so easy to melt :P howabout frost cube. if it's frost cube you can the make change maps with a "Snow Sphere" instead of snow ball xD

That is awesome! Great puzzle too, I'm really looking forward to playing this.
I think it needs a better "melting animation." This one reminds me to much of the thing the fizzeler does when you put a cube in it on the original portal.

Yeah hopefully the melting effect is just a placeholder for now.
Now all it needs is a custom particle and it'll be perfect

It works just like the sentry lasers, but instead its a spotlight. Its already in the code.
