Yes! However if you install an newer version of UP while this mod is already installed you will need to reinstall BAO again.

Is this mod compatible with most mods? Its an audio, it seems logical, but just asking. As in, we just reinstall it and overwrite files if we add things. Right?

Yes, it should work with most if not all mods that still use the vanilla weapon and magic sets as it only overwrites audio files and their locations. I say "should" because I have personally not tested this extensively with other mods which is why I stress making a backup, it's highly unlikely it will break anything but it's always a smart to make a back up of your install before modding just in case.

Hi. This is great stuff but I have some feedback - it's about disciplines:

1. Auspex. It has a major flaw. It gives a headache. When original Auspex is neutral your is like a blackboard scratching or something. It's just very unpleasant feeling when you hear it. It's even in activate sound. It's better with deactivate sound but it still has this vibe. Also that 'tap' sound in deactivate... It doesn't fit not only here
2. but it also ruins most Dominate sounds for me. Is it possible you will get rid of it? Also about Dominate sounds - maybe it would be better to make them less 'complicated'. Original ones are much 'simpler'/'shorter'. Combining too much stuff together is not always the best solution.
3. Thaumaturgy is great but one notice about Blood Boil. Explosion sound is like filtered with DSP filter or something - sounds like it happens in a corridor or a hall. Maybe you could make it more neutral? Blood Boil is also used outdoors and even for some indoors areas it sounds a little strange.
4. Is it possible to add Bloodbuff sound? Cos I don't see it in the archive.

Thanks for the feedback!

If there is something you don't like within the mod you can disable that particular sound for now by navigating to your game folder and finding the audio files in question and deleting them, this will revert those audio files back to vanilla sounds.

As for Bloodboil there is not special effect tied to it as all the effects in the mod minus some UI stuff are entirely MONO, it's possible that you may have the "Environmental Audio" option enabled in your game which has been known to be buggy and acts weird for other players from time to time.

Also Bloodbuff IS in the archive you downloaded! It's called bloodhealing_activate.wav and goes in your "Vampire/Sound/Disciplines" Folder :)

Let me know if you have any other questions!

I meant that Bloodboil explosion sound (wav file) itself (or rather that splashing part at the end) sounds at least a little like it happens in a hall or something. You know - kinda like sound with EAX effect enabled (like remains drop on a floor in a closed room which gives this small echo reverb - don't know how to exactly describe it in English :D).

And about Bloodbuff sound - so it's used for both Bloodbuff and Bloodheal disciplines then?

Hmm, I do understand what you are trying to convey. Like I said the file has no reverb or delay processing on it (Not really needed since the file was mixed down into mono anyway) It's possible you may be confusing the "spray" sound at the end as being echo or reverb, it's the recording of water spray in my studio that is used to simulate the sound of a large amount of blood spraying everywhere after the person explodes, it's a classic sound designer trick called a "Sweetener" used both in films and games.

If it persists in your game let me know, I'm curious to see if I can recreate the issue you have noticed on one of my other testing computers.

As for Bloodbuff and Blood Heal, no they do not use the same sounds. For some reason Bloodbuff is referred to as Bloodheal within the game files. Blood Heal was actually cut content that was reintroduced thanks to the UOP. The fact that Bloodbuff was called that in the first place is probably due to a simple oversight by Troika during production.

Yep, that's it. At the end is sounds kinda "indoorish" for me. Like it happens in a hall or a room. Could be more neutral if possible. Not a big deal or anything - just saying :)

Ah, so Bloodbuff uses Bloodheal wav sound. In that case what about Bloodheal itself? Cos I think there is no other wav file for it in the archive.

And thx for the answers.

Wait a minute, when I read the "Read Me" file, so you're telling me that the rest of the sfx can only apply to the UOP (unofficial plus), not the UOB (official). So basically I can add the gun sfx, but not the stealth kills or other miscellaneous. Well that's a bum wrap

I probably should have re-worded a bit better. The stealth kill sounds work just fine in pretty much all versions including modded, the line saying UOP only was refering the fact that the torch stealth kill sound only works with UOP or any mod that restores the cut torch weapon back into the game. Otherwise there will be no torch and as such no stealth kill audio for you to hear.

Hopefully this will make much more sense now :)
