Bloodlines Antitribu reshapes Vampire the Masquerade and makes it playable from a totally different aspect. The most noticable ones are the 7 new clans, 12+ new disciplines at the players disposal with addition of overhauled gameplay, making it more diverse by letting the player explore other aspects of Vampire the Masquerade, such as being able to join the sabbat, and explore new locations never before seen in the game.

The 7 clans that are introduced in Bloodlines Antitribu are:

  1. Tzimisce Antitribu - Known as Fiends, they are notorious for their abilities warp flesh and their cruelty. The handful of Camarilla Fiends use their abilities to be beautiful aristocrats rather than grotesque freaks.
  2. Lasombra Antitribu - Wielders of Abyssal powers, the Lasombra are the Kings and Queens of Shadow. Though the Magisters are bitter rivals to the Ventrue, their most hated enemies are their Sabbat cousins.
  3. Giovanni - Affluent and wielding power over the dead, the Giovanni have been independent from the sects for centuries. In recent nights a small number of Giovanni have defected to the Camarilla.
  4. Old Clan Tzimisce - These Old World Fiends maintain the ancient traditions of their clan, including their grudge against the Tremere. Old Clan Fiends can wield their own powerful blood magic called Koldunism.
  5. Ravnos - Almost extinct, Clan Ravnos struggles to preserve their proud Eastern traditions these nights. They are called Deceivers due to their power over illusions.
  6. Nagaraja - Nagaraja must consume both blood and flesh to survive. These twice-cursed Flesh Eaters are the almost extinct legacy of ancient necromantic mages.
  7. Samedi - The Haitian Samedi are necromancers and professional killers. Though fiercely independent, they often take Camarilla contracts.

The mod is currently "under development" (work in progress), and you may track its progress from this page: Bloodlines Antitribu Progress Report

  Introduction:

Hello to all Bloodlines Antitribu fans, we are getting very close to the initial release of the mod, which will include most of the essentials included. Some of the planned details will have to wait until later releases. However in order complete the initial release we need help in completing one of the main aspects of the Mod. Which are the character models known as Playable Characters, also known as PC.

  What Do We Need?

We need able texturers to help us create high quality models that are going to be the main aspect of the game. We have concepts ready, only thing we need is for someone to apply them and make the textures for them, which then we stick to our models.

You already have seen our work and know the level of quality that we seek. Typical paint jobs is not what we are looking for - we need the ability of the texture to change a simple model into an entirely different one by using only textures. You can see some of our work listed here: PC/NPCs

Detail is everything, and since we are focusing on the Playable characters  - meaning they will be seen the most throughout the entire game, and they need to be perfect.

We don't want to waste your time asking you to make something to then reject. Hence we leave it up to you to decide whether you can or cannot do the job.

What we need from you before you try to apply is a sample of your work - preferably on bloodlines (since texturing in this game is very tricky). And we also need comitment. This is a free project, and does not give you any monetary benefits, we work for the joy of the community and our love for the WoD - so when you join up make sure you can complete whatever task is given to you, and that you won't mysteriously disappear.

We have had many many people who joined to do parts of the work, specially those that wanted to help with programming, and then they simply vanished - and it is understandable. This game is not an easy game to mod - specially when you want to touch the engine itself. Also real life has a way of messing things up, if you simply can't do something due to an event in your life we understand, but if the event is predictable, please make a note of it so that we can have a contingency plan for the work assigned. You have to know the risks when you want to sign up.

If you can only do a small part its cool, small by small we work our way up to completion.

  How to Sign Up?

Quite easy, send a sample of your work, and talk a little about your experience and also why are you interested in this particular project. Knowing about the WoD is a plus, since spontaneous acts of creativity can improve both your work, and the project overall.

Upload a sample of your work, and send it to me via PM here Send PM - However do notice that you have to upload your work on external links since PM system does not allow you to send me files - I suggest uploading on external file hosting sites - preferably RapidShare, MediaFire or SendSpace.

Alternatively if you do not want to sing up to ModDB - you can simply send an email to:
BloodlinesAntitribu@Gmail.com

Anyway that is all for now. Have a great day and don't forget to visit the site and like our newly opened Facebook Page which automatically is automatically updated when an Upload is posted on the site - so if you wanna see them first hand before they are posted anywhere else - thats the place to go to get the earliest notification.

By "OP'ed" I meant 'overpowered', or a bit too strong of a discipline the way it was shown in the vid.

If I recall correctly, Necromancy raised 2 or 3 zombies to fight for the PC (player character). Given how strong PC's could be made in previous version of VtMB (Clan Quest Mod, The Final Nights, vanilla, Plus Patch), adding a couple cannon fodder type allies would seem like overkill at first glance. Hopefully the enemies and gameplay are more difficult to help balance that out a bit?

Interesting mod, looks to bring a lot of nice stuff to the game.

I wanted to add this: can you introduce Pisha in a quest for the Najaraga clan? It seems quite fitting.

Overall, great work so far on the vids (Necromancy has an AWESOME casting animation, but it seems a bit OP'ed?).

Thanks.

Regarding Pisha, its on the list of things to be done after the initial release.

Another thing, what do you mean by OP'ed?

Wow great but you should enhance his movements (dodge),i played the mod Final Nights and i was impressed with the battle with the plaguebearer Bishop, he was avoiding stay at the same place all the time shooting and
changing position and if im not mistaken when he had to reload his weapon he just hide behind something to avoid your bullets, it was like playing with another player. you should do this with this ninja, he are staying to much time at the same place, becoming easy to hit especially with ranged weapon.
What im trying to say he doesn't make fast dodge. the first ninja looking like sub-zero(my fav character from MK,after scorpion of course XD), he makes fast movements but just for atack, he should make a fast movement for behind (a hit and run tatic) when you hit him, and after that atack you. Would be great, but your work so far are great, can't wait to play this mod.

Alright - we did a little digging, and changed how bishop worked entirely, you are going to love it. Although I should point out that this has never been done before :D

Thank, great advise, however The bishop AI works like that modded or otherwise. It is near impossible to change the AI function, but we have done a few things that enhances the current AI. The video was demonstration only, we wanted you to see them up close, if they jumped around too much it would have been difficult to identify them. They also appear in dark alleys and places rather than a very well lit place.

If you really do check the reply then the real concept is that the fight with the werewolf is not just a boss fight, but a horror style running away from a deadly hunter, you feel the adrenaline running trough you as you run away with all you got, that is very refreshing throughout ones experience with the game -

However if you want to kill big monsters, then dont worry in this mod you will be facing new boss types that are the same size as the werewolf.
