In game screenshots of the original maps are on the way. I have been violently sick for the last couple of weeks, so progross has been slow on the Mapping front, but it is certainly picking up again.
On another note, I have been receiving a lot of feedback from all you guys on both of my email addresses, the PM system on here, and through Postmortem. I have not been able to go through it all as of yet, but I certainly will PM you all back soon, so apologies for that.
On the media side of things, I have been speaking to a number of audio professionals, and have a studio hired during the summer to re-create some of the sound effects from the game.
The music, also, will be preserved mostly, but may be altered.
Some of the feedback I am receiving is regarding Copyright issues. I feel the need to explain to all that this is an entirely new version of the game. It is a TOTAL conversion. Although the basic ideas will be the same, the presentation will be the same, but it will just be rebuilt from scratch.
As for releases...
At the top of this page, I have Q1 2010 entered as the Release date. This is not the complete release date. This is the release date for our beta version, which I can promise will contain most if not all of the first chapter of the game. Alpha testers are more than welcome to contact me to sign up. I already have a lot of alpha testers lined up, but if you feel, you may certainly contact me to obtain a alpha of the game long before the Beta release date.
We are still looking for experienced coders and texture artists, so please PM me.
