Blood and Iron is a modification for Napoleonic wars set mainly between 1870 and 1880. The aim is to give the players a good representation of the era, balanced and fun game-play, immersive maps, and a generally good time. The third update is currently under development, and it will bring you lots of new possibilities and two new factions.

i wonder why they put the bolt upright and not side ways like usual. any ideas anyone?
Weapons designs, in hindsight, are not always all that good or practical. The Dreyse Needle Gun (pictured) had a lot of drawbacks, including its awkward bolt. Obviously its successor (The Mauser 1871) and the majority of future bolt-actions would end up being favored.

only officers could have facial hair in the prusian army so its perfect
