A class project in Navigation, Game features Audio only gameplay, to simulate being blind and is set in a Monty Python-ish comical world where a group of blind Monks are initiating you into their society by having you perform several audio navigatory task to help you learn to SEE with your EARS. Game Plays through in about half an hour. Created by Kyle Audick & Erik Carlson UCLA D|MA 2008

The Blind Monk's Society is five week project in Navigation. Featuring Audio only navigation set in a Monty-Python-esk World of the Blind Monks. You will need to use your headphones to take the first stumbling steps as a blind person and eventually learn how to walk blindly with confidence. You will meet many Colorful characters on your quest to help the Society and learn to SEE with your EARS. This mod is available for Download Right HERE.

Yeah i think it was unless the monk lost his tongue :p Shame you couldnt be told that though and couldnt find the other monks after the jog, just the bell and the water, but great concept, very very original and a must have mod!
Wow, this mod was absolutely awesome. I had a badday today but the end of this game made up for it, I almost cried. The music at the end really made me appreciate sound and the ability to hear. Just goes to show how amazing all the little sounds are in life and how much more powerful music must be to the blind.

It's cleverly done, the beginning gave me a good laugh, too.
Ohyeah; the algorithm is called the "Cetera Algorithm", really cool.
